I have a dd 3 in november so really need to get her out of nappies now.
I have kind of tried before but with her in nursery some days and home others I gave up.
Please it would be great if some other mums could start with me and we can really support eachother?

hi Fran. i am coming to think that maybe those pull up nappies are not a great invention to be honest. and am not convincing kids understand the difference between normal nappies and pull ups. tbh we have been buying them for ages and they cost a fortune!!! am coming to think that maybe - for our dd anyway- we should just stop any kind of nappies and buy pants. harm ourselves with patience and take it from there... what does anyone else think? if my dd gets upset to wee her pants or poo them; maybe that will make her concentrate on getting to the potty before it happens ... and not after! am I cruel? when my dd was 18 months ; she was like yours about "wanted" to be clean but it did not last long and we did not come close to proper potty training. i really dont know what the answer is...

i beginning to agree about the pull ups especially the ones from tescos. i think we might leave it for a bit as she hasn't shown any other signs of being ready yet
