just continuing on from my previous thread on reasons not to have 2 or more kids....so what are the advantages/good things about having a large family (ie a lot of kids)? I am not from one myself but am interested to hear the views of those who have 3 or more kids or who grew up with a lot of siblings? thanks again!

not sure.... 38..oh dear. Would like another??? Struggling with that one at the mo. I had alot of mc between themall as well. It's a struggle. Could really do with some sound tips. Couldn't we all?!
Some things I think I've got sorted ok, others like book bag and shoe chaos, tidying the house, stopping endless squables, just really grind me down. Tips please? Did I say I would like tips?

So pierre, you could be second in command then!?

There are many many fab things for having many kiddies, and then you get three girlies who all get hormonal with their mummy and it turns to hell........

Just to make it all clear....I am all PMT-y today, as are my 12yr old, and 10yr old. My 7yr old is watching with interest at the arguements, and so I tell her (quite harshly too, without meanign to), that should she dare to get hormonal too then I may have to quit being mummy.
made her cry
bad mummy....

soo......go ahead, have many....just don't have girls with hormones

Too late psychomum

4 girls here and expecting #5 (dh hoping for a boy to balance it out but of course even a boy isn't going to make any differnce to the hormones of 4 girls and their mother!!!!)

LOL and sympathies magnolia.....4 girlies and hormones!!!

My DH does at least have hiw 2 boys to help on the balance front, but then they take great joy in winding us girlies up, so no fun in my eyes there!
