I hate the newborn stage

There I said it.

Ds is 11 days old and I have been trying to persuade myself its all going rosy but the truth is I hate everything about the newborn stage.

My dd is nearly 9 and I'd forgotten how utterly draining it is. And I'm fed up not bloody sleeping more than 3 hours in a row.. Mostly 2.

Yes I sound like a miserable git. But I feel like it. :(

Not pnd. Just fed up. I can't be the only one who doesn't enjoy this bit.

5 weeks in with my first here and pretty much hating every minute of it....and then hating myself for hating it! I like the idea of crossing off the days on the calendar. What age am I counting down towards? When does it get better??

Both mine got suddenly much easier at about 4.5 months, but lots of people find 12wks is a time when things click into place.

Better to hate this stage imo, it's the shortest. People who hate the toddler stage have to endure months if not years of it Grin

I absolutely love the baby stage!! My twins are 6 months old now and would love to shrink them back!! ( even though I love this stage)

If you can, just try and sod everything else off, and just chill with baby and little one!!

I honestly know how hard it is when my twins where born my dd was 10 months (and still night feeding) it was a blur!! But a amazing time.

I think if it wasn't for the sleepless nights things would seam so much easier!!
