I'm being overly precious mother aren't I?

ARGH!

Ds1 has just gone to school in uniform ... on a non-uniform day. Why? Because there was a printing error and we only got half a newsletter. He's gutted and I feel really shit.

Worse, last night he came out with something that implies (not sure yet, but I'm keeping an eye on it) that he's getting nasty teasing from a group of three children (one of whom used to be a very close friend from nursery before going to school) so he's feeling pretty insecure anyway. All I can see in my mind's eye is these three taking the mickey out of him all day for being in his uniform

It's okay - dh took him to school and realised, so he did the full brusque "it's fine, you'll be fine, don't be silly" routine, so ds1 won't have picked up on how upset I'm feeling.

I'm being daft aren't I?

ARGH - hate school - like all the learning fun stuff, but hate all the political crap and the myriad of mountainous molehills...

Only 12 more years to go...

aw, scummy, you are sweet!

He isn't handsome although he is cute - but he wears specs and is gangly and I don't think anybody fancies him atm or he wouldn't have minded so much. (He is very funny though. His time will come )

Specs can be v sexy and he will be fancied in good time, I am sure.

I think most mums have done something like this at some point. I have a crap memory and can never keep up with what they are doing. I sent them in full uniform on the day of their trip. DS decided to tell me he only needed to wear his jumper and that he needed a poly bag as we stepped into the playground.
