I started using cloths when ds was about 8 weeks, and used tots bots. Then when he grew out of the size 1's, I didn't buy any more, cos I was never really comfortable with them: I couldn't get his trousers over them, I never really had to deal with a nasty poo (used dispies at night), and they often left reddish marks on his thighs. I just wanted to know which were people's faves and why, if you don't mind!! Thank you

I'm currently trialling a few before I take the plunge completely and am surprised at how much I like the totsbots - very absorbent. Dd can't wear trousers when they're on though! I have orfdered a bamboozle but it's taking ages to arrive. Fuzzibunz are good but leak unless I use 2 inserts (thanks for the tip misdee). Swaddlebees are lovely and slim but not quite as good as the fuzzis.

Have to say though that I hate the weenotions - find them really fiddly to do up as they have two sets of poppers plus one button on each side.

misdee · 05/10/2005 21:11

i never use the button on the wee-notions, i think if serena learnt to undo the poppers then i would use it, but atm she cant undo them, tho is good at taking off lovebums nappies and aplix wraps.

liked Kushies but both DSs came out of them at about 20m or so - but certainly was very happy with them until them

Thanks, but i think you've made it harder! There are so many opinions... I think I'd like to try a fuzzi though. Never used stuffables before.

I currently love a hemp nappy I bought from the US called Liz Cloth. It lasts ds all night, but when the booster is taken out is super neat and cute. Plus nothing gets out of the legs!!
Also love my Poochies, they are very cute and slim.
I like white aplix tots bots occasionally.
Righteous baby hemp nappies from the US are fab.
I used to love Dizzy diapers, but now the loose leg elastic is driving me up the wall.
I like my Huggle and my hemp stuffie and my bumble.
And and and my scarlet Fuzzis are super cute.
I could go on, but I won't...
There are so many gorgeous nappies
