I started using cloths when ds was about 8 weeks, and used tots bots. Then when he grew out of the size 1's, I didn't buy any more, cos I was never really comfortable with them: I couldn't get his trousers over them, I never really had to deal with a nasty poo (used dispies at night), and they often left reddish marks on his thighs. I just wanted to know which were people's faves and why, if you don't mind!! Thank you

tots bots and motherease/lovebums wraps.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 04/10/2005 22:51

Tots bots im afraid - best absorbancy for Jess. Only used them from 11 months with her, but have some size 1's for new baby.

fuzzybunz, nice and slim and you can stuff them with whatever you like, lovely stay-dry fleece inner, easy to use for grannies/nursery

BadHair · 04/10/2005 23:28

Tots bots as they hold soooo much wee, and my dses are quite slim so they filled their trousers out nicely.

Ta everyone. What's best for stuffing fuzzis? And are they quick drying?

motherpeculiar · 04/10/2005 23:53

ooooooooooooh, now I can give you the top tip given to me on this site for stuffing Fuzzis - tesco microfibre cloths, 3 for 89p (if they've any left after I went online )

Hi Lockets

Fuzzi Bunz are very quick drying -- one reason we're using them more than our Tots at the moment. And if you use the Tesco cloths then those are almost dry when they come out of the washer - lovely.

misdee · 05/10/2005 08:09

wee-notions are also fab. but dont cover a wide range of sizes like a totsbots size 2 can. so for best value its totsbots i', afraid, but for cuteness and ease of use its wee-notions.

evansmummy, I find Wonder-full inserts the best for stuffing fuzzis in terms of absorbency and for prolonging the time they can be worn, but they are expensive.

Pollyanna · 05/10/2005 08:15

misdee, I'm in a quandary now whether to buy wee-notions, or tots (and whether to go for normal tots or bamboozles). Decisions, decisions

Carlk · 05/10/2005 08:16

tots bots for us

throckenholt · 05/10/2005 08:21

motherease one size and popolini one size (which made by the European ex-partner of motherease and are the same but cheaper !).

Tots bots took too long to dry, and went very rough in our hard water area (and you have to have different sizes as they grow).

merglemergle · 05/10/2005 08:39

am a bit disturbed by the lack of absorbancy in motherease onesize tbh (yes, I am using the booster). Fair enough, ds who is 2 is sopping wet by the morning. But so is dd, who is 3 months! Have no money though so we will all have to manage.

Can't boost any more as Motherease does not do up on ds as it is. (do NOT buy the extenders btw, anyone, as they are the work of the devil).

So, on balance, would not vote for motherease onesize.

merglemergle · 05/10/2005 08:41

And as if that wasn't enough, after 2 years of use the Motherease are like sandpaper. And ds can take them off. And does.

he says "MUMEEE pleeeease noooooo" when he sees them coming.

poppy101 · 05/10/2005 08:44

Tots bots, mind you so far I am impressed with their new fluffle.

Bewitched · 05/10/2005 09:01

I read a magazine review recently where they rated bambino mio above the others mentioned on this thread. Has no-one used these in RL and liked them?

NannyL · 05/10/2005 09:10

mergle mergle you can 'boost' MEOS by putting the booster between the nappy and thw wrap rather than in the nappy!

I personally LOVE MESandys and kissaluvs the best!

flowerfairy · 05/10/2005 20:07

Fuzzis fo r convenience but tots for containment of you know what.
