Hi all. Just posted an update on my old thread here .

We're all doing well. Hoping for a discharge from hospital tomorrow or the day after. More info in the original thread.

Love to you all, and thanks for LOADS of well wishes. You really have all been very kind and the posts really helped Dee and I along in the last few days.

Kangacuddles are deffo brill. She rests much more sweetly (less arm thrashing, fewer noises etc.) and for longer than when she is in her shoebox. It is hard to keep remembering she would still be inside given other circs IYSWIM.

PS - Do they have to be skin to skin to derive max benefit ? Seems easier in the baby grow IYSWIM as we don't need to dress / undress her all the time depending on who is available for cuddles.

Yes we did them skin to skin

DS didn't wear clothes in NNU cos of all the wires and tubes etc.

Then at home kept going the same. DS loved falling asleep like that

And yes it is weird to think that they should still be inside, especially when you see other preggers mums

They keep warm by body heat plus 1995 was very hot

But guess with babygrows would be ok too

perhaps unpop her down the front
