What is the worst tasting medicine you have had?

For me: pulmo bailey cough medicine

This is what DH brought home for me today. My cough is now so bad I cough with pretty much every breath, which is taking it's toll on my already flu ridden body.

You take it in water and drink it. It smells vile and tastes even worse. Despite not eating much at the moment I actually ended up raiding DD's Christmas chocolate in rder to eat something to remove the taste from my mouth.

I am told it is supposed to the best cough medicine there is and that is does work, and will suppress the cough for a while. Well, maybe a little but not entirely that's for ssue.

Has anyone tasted Pulmo Bailey AND Pripsen? Care to rank them?

I have just been a little bit sick in my mouth remembering that worm medicine! Am suddenly transported back to my nana's house circa 1974 with my mum trying to bribe me to drink it. Said if I was a good girl I could wash it down with cream soda off the alpine van.

pripsen, no contest. Thankfully, only needed once.

They should remarket pripsen as an anti nail biting/thumb sucking medicine. The paint on stuff my Mum tried to stop me sucking my fingers never bothered me that much, but pripsen tasting stuff would have done the trick!!!

Lambanana - you just made me laugh. My mum told me and my sister she thought it tasted like Cremola Foam - and we too were ultimately threatened with a thrashing bribed with fizzy juice.

The original penicillin - decades ago. It looked like milk with lumps of sick in it. In order to get me to swallow this three times a day, my Mum had to whack me on the arse quite a lot. BTW - it tasted like milk with lumps of sick in it, fancy that!
