wmmc - you can't have a cat and speak such sense. cat piss is evil.

shineon - you're bonkers. can I suggest saving yoghurt pots/margarine tubs etc for the spiders?

dearprudence · 29/12/2009 23:20

Shiney, you trap spiders under glasses?

I couldn't use anything transparent. You could see the little fecker wriggling around underneath.

WMMC - both cats snuffed it this year (I did not kill them in case you were wondering.) One was incontinent for a year before she died so I did get up close and personal with cat wee!

Much as I am into 'reduce, recycle, reuse' etc, I also know you can get a slow cooker in tesco for fifteen quid so I would probably be binning too!

whomovedmychocolate · 29/12/2009 23:29

It's not about the fricking money

Electrical components and metal objects are actually quite hard to recycle. We shouldn't ditched things purely for the sin of 'smelling funny' otherwise we'd have all put our mother in laws on freecycle FFS!

No, don't put it into landfill. Get rid of the smell with bicarb and then stick on freecycle. We all know that the cat piss isn't actually dangerous. It's just icky. What you don't know can't hurt you

And Shiney - I hope I don't know you and turn up at your house one day to be greeted with the spider/glass challenge.

Oh you ladies have made me laugh so much, thank you.

Took me ages to figure where the smell was coming from. Pesky onion hating cat.

Please tell me you discovered it before eating?!

jellyjelly · 30/12/2009 21:34

I did. I prepared all the food ready to cook in the cooker then discovered it.
