Thanks m, i'm sure she'll be ok soon she's just had a really high temp and an odd rash on her hands and face.....i think it might turn into hand, foot and mouth disease or possibly chicken pox but not sure......could be nothing......no point in taking her to the docs either as they will just tell me its a 'viral' thing and to give her calpol!

I'm really trying to keep on top of stuff in the house tbh i'm finding it quite hard to keep up with everything so thought something had to give and unfortunatly that is MN (....well for a little while anyway )

my mum is going to have one of her eyes done tomnorrow ,6 weeks earlier than her original apt.I will be glad when it has been done as i know she is very nervous about it.She will be coming to stay with us again after for a few days as she isnt allowed to bend and do things,so i can keep my eye on her.Hope P soon picks up.

she is here sparkles and there were/ are no problems at all with it.I was a bit worried her eye was going to be all red and maybe a bit blood filled [ which i cant stomach ] so when i took off her dressing it was very gingerly .But there was nothing ,no blood ,no soreness at all,just a little bruise where they injected under her eye.She has been here since last wed and is going home tomorrow.She has to go back in feb and hopefuly they will tell her when the next op will be.[ for the other eye ]

P is all better now....Dp has just got home from burns night celebrations!!

he obviously had a good time then sparkles !I am glad to hear that P is now over her illness.Its horible when they are so young because they cant expain cant explain to you how they feel.There seems to be a lot of sickness around ,i would of thpought the cold weather had killed a lot of germs ,but it dosent seem to be the case at the moment.Very grey day down here today ,not sure if we have rain due or not,My mum is busy doing a jigsaw puzzle,i think she is going home today,but not sure entirely.

I wish i could get up to my mum her header tank burst while she was away and has flooded the house and I can't get up to her because we can't do long journey's in the car....she has her sister near her and is staying there until her house is sorted but i just wish i could go and see her

i am lucky sparkles i see my mum nearly every day usually,but at the moment she isnt able to drive her car,but she can get on a bus and come down,she loves sitting in my conservatory watching the birds and doing dh,s puzzle !! maybe she will do that today.

we can't afford a new one at the moment, the guy at the garage said if we don't do any long journeys it should be ok for a few months so thats what we are doing

dp got promoted from 1st jan but has deferred it until the 1st april as the bonus will (hopefully!!) be bigger then...so fingers crossed the car will hold out and we can look at getting another one then

yes there is sparkles ,whenever you think you may have a bit of spare cash ,something will always come along and eat it up !hopefully your car will last until you get a new one.Just made a huge pan of beef stew,i can smell it all round the house !

I need to have them once a week now. Aunt Bessies ones, put them in stew for last hour. Yummy, or spag bol anything for a dumpling.

i too love dumplings ,glad things going ok with your lovely cats.When you get money for kittens you will have to buy another cat that can breed if you dont have enough !we have no snow here ,but looking at some photos from last year on this date we had some snow.I want some !!!!
