isnowsoonenough · 30/11/2009 15:08

Call me wotz you like
It's only because I de'regd.

December birthdays must be a nightmare. Shops full of Xmas stuff. Couldn't you let them have a summer one? Pretend you got the wrong date?

mummylin2495 · 30/11/2009 15:17

xmas birthdays are a nightmare ,you cant get any decent cards as the shelves are full of xmas cards.I have 4 birthdays this month starting tomorrow, then another on wed ,then the 12th and finally the 30th ! its also expensive. Why oh why did i have sex in march !!!!

mummylin2495 · 30/11/2009 15:17

and wotz we do actually decorate the front of ou house .Dh won a trophy a couple of years ago for the best in our area !

sparklesandwine · 30/11/2009 16:04

birthday party is booked, a football party for the bargin price of £49 very pleased!!

I have opted for the bargin party as the hall hire and magician was going to cost £180 and without food this way i can just do footie party and party bags thankyou very much and off you go

....plus that also means i can now afford to do the santa express train ride on DS2's actual birthday which i wasn't going to due cos of the cost of the party

does that make sense??

anyway i'm happy as we get to do the santa train and ds2 is happy as he gets a party

gosh i'm far too excitable today

when is the party and ds,s birthday sparkles ? Yes that sounds great and its good that you have done it that way so you can do other things as well

sparklesandwine · 30/11/2009 16:28

his birthday is on 13th so we are doing the train then and his party is going to be on the 19th

its just a nightmare we've had to cut right back on the usual things and the train ride is a quite pricey, its £19.50pp but its so lovely and very magical so worth it, but i would have not done it this year in order for ds2 to have a party iyswim

sparklesandwine · 30/11/2009 16:30

mummylin2495 · 30/11/2009 16:33

isnowsoonenough · 30/11/2009 17:58

Nice to hear your DH won a prize for his Xmas light display.
Sparkles the train sounds lovely.

We are having a quiet one this year. We are both whacked out with work so we will be switching the work phones off and leaving the answering machine on. Only way or else we would kill each other (or jump out of the window) FEck!

MissParallelUniverse · 30/11/2009 18:38

Shivvering · 01/12/2009 06:35

Yes, it is a tall name.

CC I have decided you need to move, away from next door MIL person.

I wake for p&q and the kitts are running mad.

Well actually, I have been awake since half 3.

Gave up attempting sleep. So out the laptop comes.

Shivvering · 01/12/2009 06:43

Okay, so here is the plan.

Go to work for 3 weeks (till xmas) get paid, buy something I have put deposit on, give up work and breed cats full-time.

I put an ad up last night asking for quotesfor me cat-hoose. I have lots of emails. £15 per hour, £12 per hour, I suppose it depends on how much they arse around......Shall I spend £100 + get it done properly, shall I use a Polish lad who prob has no idea wtf he is doing but will be cheap cheap. I don't know if he is Polish actually.

They had a big "POLISH" sign in Tesco, I though it was cleaning products.

MissParallelUniverse · 01/12/2009 08:11

yes
I feel too small for this name ...

polish people are nice

mil has a polish gardner and cleaner

moving ...
tis giving me a headache

have a fear that the next place will be even worse

gloom and doom me

oh well off to the kitchen

till later

Shivvering · 01/12/2009 09:26

Yes, they work very hard too and don't expect £££££.

MissParallelUniverse · 01/12/2009 10:07

they do work very hard

tis pissing down here

but the house smells lovely

freshly baked shortbread ...

ps think I may be crap at being a daughter in law....but hey ho

life should come with better job desciptions for these things

back to sketching

take care...

isnowsoonenough · 01/12/2009 10:49

I ma trying to figure out google ad words and placements over the network. I feel like I'm 10 again trying to fathom out logarithms. WHY AM I DOING THIS?

I'm going to have a coffee. Sadly I have given up smoking. it's too cold to stand outside. I feel it's a summer hobbie.

mummylin2495 · 01/12/2009 11:41

well done to ypou wotz for giving up the weed,i am not so strong and stil puffing away.Shivvering that sounds like a good idea re cats ,but would it make you enough money to be able to live off ? Are you not sleeping at the moment ? xcup i think while you are living there you are not going to be a happy bunny and should think about coming back to the UK.
