Oh God, you're all talking Christmas.. baaaaaah.

Our decorations consist of holly, eucalyptus, ilix and ivy thrown everywhere.Tree put up day before or actually on Christmas eve and decorated with fabric hearts, Swedish cone thingys filled with small presents and sweets and coloured lights.

Wreath on door to welcome all and a lantern lit and hung up outside to let Mary and Joseph know there is room in our Inn.

Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Judy Garland, Billie holiday all on a loop singing about White Christmas and how Santy got stuck up their chimneys.

I WATCH THE FAMILY.

I love them all and the little girl babbling away made me laugh out loud, Wotz.

Ok.

SCHOOLS.

G's off to secondary in September and I'm getting a little worked up thinking through which school to send him to.

H accused me of being a pushy mother.

H.E.L.P.

Head hurts.

CyberCinders · 26/11/2009 06:15

mothers

are pushy

shows we care -

CyberCinders · 26/11/2009 06:35

in a wanting whats best way...

problem is they usually disagree....

or not listen...

or move out ...

off to walk child and dog

peers through fog ......
dissappears

Tn0g · 26/11/2009 06:35

Morning.

Are you an hour ahead?

I agree to an extent that pushy can equal caring, but schooling has become so much more competitive hasn't it?

Everytime I bump into another parent the first quetsion is, which school?

If I stumble with the answer they just leap in to tell me their child is super duper intelligent, no real need to attend school at all, tis just a formality.

How are you anyway?

Tn0g · 26/11/2009 06:37

Oh.

Crossed posts.

You have fog.

How very, murder mystery.

We have rain.

Lots of flooding around the country but we're up a hill thankfully.

CyberCinders · 26/11/2009 08:32

Shivvering · 26/11/2009 10:25

Its baltic. I have to wait in all day on xmas presents being delivered.

Tuesday i waited in all day on Joiner to come and tell me someone had stolen the doors he was coming to fit

Yesterday I wait on electrician who comes and then tells me I need a new light bulb It's like a 1960 fitting!

Anyway, then I eventually get out and the bloody parcel I was waiting on comes and needs a signature so they are delivering today.

Thing is when your waiting on some delivery man you can't do anything.

No relaxing baths, no wee naps on sofa.

I suppose I should iron.

DC school just phoned to say he has had horrific nosebleed but coped well. "Ah yes, I said he has them" . I possibly should have mentioned this previously.

She was very impressed at how well he coped and she was a little worried as he was so calm and quiet. She asked his Teacher but she said:

"No, he is always a quiet little boy" {shock} {WTF}

I wonder if they have the correct child.

Did I mention how cold it is. I may buy a fire. A pretend plug in one. Not sure where I would put it.

I may have to move this desk upstairs. I need an area for the tree. I could have it front of the window I suppose, or on the units thingy with lots of little drawers.

What is the real name for them ? I may google.

HTF did I end up back here talking shite like I do, don't I ?

Tn0g · 26/11/2009 10:30

You wee on your sofa during naps.

How strange.

Is that a scottish 'thing' then?

Shivvering · 26/11/2009 10:32

goes to read back

Shivvering · 26/11/2009 10:34

Oh okay, oh funny one.......

No little sleeps, actually I cannot nap on the sofa. It feels wrong. If/when I do nap I go to bed. Blackout blinds shut, under new duvet cover, all nice and cosy.

Not today though.

No I do not pee on the sofa.

Shivvering · 26/11/2009 10:37

You could pray for the delivery man to come early for me.

That could work.

I cannot pray I am an athiest, I think. I also have no spell check and that looks wrong.

Tn0g · 26/11/2009 10:40

I haven't prayed in months but I could start again.

I do think about God sometimes but find it impossible to pray right now AND haven't been to Mass in weeks.

Finding that bit very hard.

Shivvering · 26/11/2009 10:43

Yes I can imagine it would be at times.

Does G go ?

Shivvering · 26/11/2009 10:44

I cannot believe he is going to secondary. Thats just..... I am not sure. That's very strange. i still think of him as 9.

Shivvering · 26/11/2009 10:50

How is DH ?

Tn0g · 26/11/2009 11:01

G goes to Mass with H, grudgingly.

Begs to go to Sunday evening instead of morning mass, then moans because it clashes with Wayne Rooneys Street Soccer.

Secondary is looming and he's looking forward to it.

It's just where does he go?

Think he'd like to go to Waterloo Rd.

H is not too bad, up and down with lethargy and pain.

Shivvering · 26/11/2009 11:14

Oh i detest when you post and then crash and lose the post.

It's strange/weird/nice/funny watching them grow. Mature, well they think they are.

My 9 yr old is adorable but can be a little shit at times. He winds the hot-headed one up.

9 yr old told Vet off for talking about giving one my cats steriods. Told them they were illegal.

Shivvering · 26/11/2009 11:14

Try xmas mass

Shivvering · 26/11/2009 11:44

so so tempting

CyberCinders · 26/11/2009 12:25

strange

a house swop for anywhere ....

we are still trying to move

tis very very very stressful...

well except for dh

he just sits on his wall

thinking .....

and I get stressed and cross

Shivvering · 26/11/2009 12:43

That happened to me.

I was left to make the decision. I made the wrong one.

I don't detest here but I don't like it much.

CyberCinders · 26/11/2009 12:48

I used to love moving

this is getting silly now

we were going to get a new house on a very strange scheme ...
but they still have not build it

and the payments are sooooooo high

well now we are going round and round in circles

and dh

NEEDS to speak to his parents

and has he .....

oh well
sil cannot sell till we are gone and this house is awful

wishing you the very best shivvering

better get on ....

sparklesandwine · 26/11/2009 13:23
