i am back safely without blowing away ,of course whilst i was out it poured with rain ,so only mananged to get a couple of things ,but its a start at least.I was just wandering around aimlessly wondering what to get for people.But i did get three things for 2 in Boots so saved myself £8.

poor you sparkles,especially as you have to cope on your own for now.Hope everyone soon recovers,for your sake as well as theirs.

easy dinner for me tonight as dh will be in a rush to go to our towns footi game with my brother.Cold beef and savoury wedges,of course dh will have to have his custom portion of baked beans [ he loves them cold or hot ]

Smallest of dc just had a humungous tamtrum. He gets so he throws things at his brother and it takes forever for him to snap out of it. Talking does not work, being nice does not work, shouting does not work. Ice Cream worked. Oh & a bath full of toys.

24 Nov already - in a months time Christmas Eve. My gran was right - as you get older time goes so much faster and you don't have time to be bored or fed up.

its christmas in a month

i'm very excited i love christmas

in fact as DD1 and DS3 are still off today i might even get them doing some christmassy things with glitter ......

i toolove xmas sparkles and on dec 1st my decs will be up,i have always done iton that date as my ds was born on the 2nd and since gs has been born its for him too s his bday is the 1st ! i then keep them up for a whole month as its dd bday on the 30th !!!!

i know someone who is putting their decs up this weekend far too early for me

we usually put them up after DS2's bday on 13th which far more reasonable!!

must stop talking about christmas M we might frighten people away

I usually wait until 12 days before but have been talked into putting them up on the 1st this year.

I may start getting some bit and bos Although I am unsure how the cats will be with the tree.

What colours are we doing:

a) Green red gold
b) Silver Blue
c) Something else

i need inspiration.

I have bought both dc their presents and it's only fecking november, this is a first. It should be marked as some sort of occasion, a rare one.

Obv. kitts helped with that though.

we're doing purple and black decs this year not very festive maybe but looks gorgeous!!

I may do that. Last year was red/gold.green and the year before was too and the year before was blue/silver.

Yes that sounds lovely, I like that. So white and clear lights, purple silver tinsel and possibly some beady thingys if I can get them.

I was thinking today we could use some brightness with the dar, dark rainy days.

I would like to change colour-scheme (livingroom) but I cannot, Its too much. (my mum does) she doesn't have a BIG blue RUG though!

She just changes curtains and pillowcases and buys some red plants. voila!

Oh here comesmy Poppy......

Poppy = next years holiday until my dad pointed out "who will watch all the cats" ! Just as i was dreaming of summer climates. Abroad ones. With parents to look after children. I could put 2 in cattery but that leaves 1 dog and one outside/inside cat.

I think you can pay people to come look after your pets but I wouln'd want them raking through my knickers etc.

Anyway, that's my washing machine cycle finished I am orf to hang more stuff!!!

i use sparkly christmas ribbon instead of tinsel.....DS2 ate quite a lot of tinsel a few year ago and had ...erm...festive poo for days

Blustery today - wet windy and damp outside. Watched The Family - very funny did you see the conversation between the dad and his small grandchild. He couldn't understand a word and she was giving him a right old telling off. So patient.

my tree is always decorated in purple ,big balls and little drums ,the thick tinsel and stuff like that.have not been back long from my dd,s thats why i was missing tonight.but just had to come and see what i had missed !
