Following on from the thread that started about shoes and escalated to nearly 500 posts and a boden coat Trinty has emailed me back and we have finalised the list of things needed, if people have these things/have sent them could you post on here so I can amend the list and ensure Trinity doesnt get 345 sippy cups but no tights for dd2

Trinity's wish list
Tights - ages 9-10, 4-5/5-6, 2-3/3-4
socks - sizes 6, 8 and 10
sippy cups -
sheets - single/double or kingsize
bedding - single/double/kingsize
clothes 12/14
adult shoes - size 6,
baby clothes for DSS2's May arrival,
towels
forks
asda vouchers,
chick lit
John Grisham
Toys for the dog to chew :-)
Large saucepans (lots of people to feed in that house!!)
Beautiful Boden COat - sorted by fab mumsnetters

If anyone would like to donate funds (we have enough to get Trinity her new coat and a little bit spare) the paypal address is [email protected] and anything we collect now will be sent to Trinity as Asda vouchers to help with Christmas food/bits shop (I asked Trinity how she would prefer the funds spent and this was one of the ideas and she would really appreciate this)

Thankyou all!!

Miss GreatBritain

This is how paypal works I have lifted this from what was posted on other thread)

"PAYPAL HELP can't remember who wanted it

If you go to paypal.co.uk and then sign up, it will take a few days as you need to link your bank account or credit card, then pay pal send 2 small amounts to your bank account )5p and 7p for example) and once you have received these you enter these onto a screen to verify its you, then once set up you simply go to 'send money' then enter persons pay pal address and amount and it goes straight into other persons pay pal account, then I can either pay for things direct (Boots etc accept pay pal) or transfer money to bank account and pay from there (hope that makes sense??)"

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/10/2009 23:24

trinty - better you ask and get what you NEED and WANT then get things you dont need or get lots of same thing

now keep telling us or i will get one of my forks and poke you through the lappy with it!!!

I would send it to you,but someone has claimed forks

2shoescreepingthroughblood · 30/10/2009 23:24

do you need boy or girl quilt covers?

TheOozingPusOfSeptimusSquelch · 30/10/2009 23:24

At the risk of tights overkill, I have 5 pairs of variously jolly coloured Boden tights age 5 - 6. Where do I send them to?

NoNameNameyChangey · 30/10/2009 23:25

Trinity, it is silly to end up with 75 kettles and no mugs (or something similar). We all want to help - in a way that actually helps you!

I can pop in some plastic plates and bowls.

stressed2007 · 30/10/2009 23:26

and if you want to donate via paypal eandh isvery kindly colleting for her and the address to send money to (please do it via paypal gift so there are no charges) is:

[email protected]

Hope that helps

TrinityHasAVampireRhino · 30/10/2009 23:27

my little ones are all girls

but dd1 loves the simpsons (just incase anyone disregards a simpsons duvet cover as a boy thing )

Kewcumber · 30/10/2009 23:28

Please pass on my sympathy and regards to Trinity, I was on holiday when her DH was killed and haven't logged on much since until this week so I missed the original news.

Is there anything else she needs? I have tesco clubcard vouchers I can pass on if they can be used by anyone apart from the cardholder?

ALso my mum sells second hand books - if she has a favorite author I'd happily go and have a rummage and post her a few.

2shoescreepingthroughblood · 30/10/2009 23:29

I have pinky style quilt covers (dd is 14 s going into black)

Kewcumber · 30/10/2009 23:30

sorry Trinity cross posted with your message - I'll be throwing out DS's melamine plates and bowls next week as he is getting too grown up for them happy to pass them on to you.

MissGreatBritain · 30/10/2009 23:34

Trinity - Hoping life gets better for you - a new baby is really something to look forward to xx

stressed2007 · 30/10/2009 23:35

Kewcumber

Trinity loves chicklit and John Grisham

If it is not too much of a faff people have been sticking up lists of titles and she has soid if she wants. You could do this or look back at what already posted on the earlier thread (can you find this?) so you don't send doubles. I am sure she would appreciate any of them.

Tesco voucers - have they been swapped into things like restautant vouchers (which are usualy transferable inbetween any outlets that take tesco vouchers) - don't think they ever check names (I have given mine away to friends before to use) so in that caes probably yes - would be great

maybe Trinity could confirm if there is anywhere near her that these can be used? Suspect she would really like them.

stressed2007 · 30/10/2009 23:35

apologies for appalling typing

Kewcumber · 30/10/2009 23:39

stressed - I'll take a look back at the list tomorrow. The clubcard vouchers are the original ones send by tesco they haven't been transferred into anything yet.

Ponders · 30/10/2009 23:41

Trinity, do you have a VHS player? I have loads of outgrown kids tapes...

stressed2007 · 30/10/2009 23:42

2shoescreepingthroughbloo... sure Trinity would love the pink duvets. Thanks.

The posts are mounting up on here. Do you think eandh would mind if i cat Trinity's address to anyone that asked for it or shall I wait for her to wade through this all tomorrow so I don't confuse everybody?

Ponders · 30/10/2009 23:43

kewcumber, clubcard vouchers can only be used by the person they are issued to so no use here

(You have to log in to convert them & then the deals tokens are sent to the matching address)

stressed2007 · 30/10/2009 23:49

Kewcumber that sounds even better. Trinity do you know how clubcard vouchers work - can be swapped into many things restaurant vouchers (e.g. cafe roge, pizza express) cinema vouchers etc. The original owner i.e. Kewcumber in thiscase needs to swap fo you though. Is there anything you would like for them - here is the link to the tesco clubcard site so you can have a look what you could swap for? There are many different things

I was only justthinking I have some of these too which I would be v happy to swap also - what about a magazine subscription (there are all sorts including kids comics - I noted they have a simpsons comic etc) that get sent to your house monthly/weekly?

What do you think?

stressed2007 · 30/10/2009 23:49

oops here is the link:

www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/

stressed2007 · 30/10/2009 23:52

Ponders - they never ever check. I have given restaurant vouchers away loads of times They only check very specific things - e.g. if you get a ticket to alton towers etc. For most of the rewards you can swap into they never check.

2shoescreepingthroughblood · 30/10/2009 23:52

I don't have cat,so is ther an email address I can use to get where I need to send them too?

hanaboo · 30/10/2009 23:53

this is not a helpful post so please forgive me, i have nothing on the list or funds available (just paid car insurance this week and approx i hour ago some little b***d just broke my car window )

but i just wanted to say, i'm newish to mumsnet and i can't believe how kind everyone is being, its really nice to see

and of course condolences to trinity

stressed2007 · 30/10/2009 23:54

They are sent to owners address and they can then be forwarded onto Trinity

Ponders · 30/10/2009 23:59

Well if it will work that way for Trinity that's brilliant, stressed
