Following on from the thread that started about shoes and escalated to nearly 500 posts and a boden coat Trinty has emailed me back and we have finalised the list of things needed, if people have these things/have sent them could you post on here so I can amend the list and ensure Trinity doesnt get 345 sippy cups but no tights for dd2

Trinity's wish list
Tights - ages 9-10, 4-5/5-6, 2-3/3-4
socks - sizes 6, 8 and 10
sippy cups -
sheets - single/double or kingsize
bedding - single/double/kingsize
clothes 12/14
adult shoes - size 6,
baby clothes for DSS2's May arrival,
towels
forks
asda vouchers,
chick lit
John Grisham
Toys for the dog to chew :-)
Large saucepans (lots of people to feed in that house!!)
Beautiful Boden COat - sorted by fab mumsnetters

If anyone would like to donate funds (we have enough to get Trinity her new coat and a little bit spare) the paypal address is [email protected] and anything we collect now will be sent to Trinity as Asda vouchers to help with Christmas food/bits shop (I asked Trinity how she would prefer the funds spent and this was one of the ideas and she would really appreciate this)

Thankyou all!!

Stressed2007 - thank you!! It's not a biggie but hope it helps! and OMG Boden are so fantastic!!!! I've never shopped there before but may do now!!! Trinity - hope and your family enjoy everything that has been sent - you deserve it and more! take care.

eastendmummy · 02/11/2009 19:44

This has been the most amazing thread I have ever read on MN (am a regular lurker but infrequent poster) and I've really glad to be home with proper internet access after a few days away just reading but not really being able to post.

Eandh - you have been so amazing to organise this and the women of MN have excelled themselves in their generosity to Trinity and her family. I'm a bit late on the bandwagon but once I've finished setting up paypal, I would really like to send some money to add to the Tesco vouchers - it may take a few days though, hope that's OK.

And fantastic news from Boden too!

Trinity, I have read a lot of your posts and just wanted to add to the hundreds of messages on here that say, far more eloquently than I ever could, how strong and what an inspiration you are. Your story and comments on MN have made me think about my relationship with not only my dh but with friends and family and to realise never to take anyone for granted as you don't know what is around the corner.

Wishing you and your family a good Christmas xx

Leslaki · 02/11/2009 19:46

Maybe we could write to tesco and see if they could send something nice? Sainsbury's were always good at donating whenever our nursery at the time was asking for raffle prizes - you never know!

Haunty27 · 02/11/2009 19:58

Would M&S donate too?

Trinity I am posting my stuff this week, hope it is useful. xx

Fabster · 02/11/2009 20:03

You probably missed my post TR but would you CAT me please?

eandh · 02/11/2009 20:04

LOL at the thought of asking more stores

I only emailed Boden to ask for a slightly biiger discount than what they offer all mumsnetters (10%) as the fund was intially set up specifically for the coat and I really didn't expect them to be this generous and am amazed (having written 30 letters on behalf of my dd2's preschool asking for small raffle prize and only receiving 3 replies this has made every single email/late night and staring at laptop whilst dh was attempting to talk to me and the dd's wanted a moment of my time and I said 'in a minute' worth while )

I have never sussed out Paypal so I am sending a cheque, perhaps there will be more than £570 as there will be others in my situation. I hope so.

aristocat · 02/11/2009 20:21

TR have posted you some books for DDs - hope they are ok

well done eandh

Late to the party as usual, but is there anything left that is needed/wanted. I've got some crime fiction and some bedding - any use?

Wow that is so kind of Boden . Enjoy your new coat TR .
Excellent amount of money to help feed the brood too.

treedeLivingDeadery · 02/11/2009 20:57

Good show Boden!

eandh - I think you rock even more than Boden does. And all of the coordinators.

I think mn could change the world.

Bless you trinity.

LoveBeingAMummy · 02/11/2009 20:58

Can you update the list to see whats left.

thanks

eandh · 02/11/2009 21:02

All items on the list have been allocated (some items a few times over like bedding/towels etc) so things left are

Boots/New Look Vouchers
Tesco Vouchers

I can email you TR address to send those or alternatively paypal account still up and running and paypal addy is [email protected] I am going to send TR a huge chunk of the money at the end of this week as Tesco vouchers and then any further donations I'll pass on again via Tesco vouchers in a few weeks

Does Gecko need any winter clothes? DD is just out of her 2-3 stuff and I'd love to send some bits up to Trinity if they'd be of any use?

I'm at misselysiaanthrope at googlemail dot com

shandyleer · 02/11/2009 21:13

Sorry if this has been asked and answered earlier in the thread but how do you pay something into the paypal account?

eandh · 02/11/2009 21:15

trinity I know you wanted to start a thankyou thread, stressed2007 emailed MNHQ to ask if we could have it as a sticky at the moment we are can't have a ticky for you as lots of stickies up there at the mo.

However, they suggested that the ideal topic to post it in is OTHER SUBJECTS and as it will keep being bumped into active convos everyone will see it and will also remain for longer than the normal 90 days (in fact I may print all 3 threads off so I can keep them to read back on as forgot they'd dissapear being in chat)

Hope that helps

do you have a paypal account? If so log in and then select 'send money' enter email address ([email protected]) an dthe amount and then send/confirm (if you havent got a paypal account, go to paypal.co.uk and sign up and follow details from there (you have to enter bank details and money can be transferred from your bank directly to someones paypal and you can accept paypal payments from people it can take a few days to set up as paypal will send 2 small amounts to your bank account to verify you and then you enter these to complete opening your account, however, the fund will stay open a while longer as going to send TR a huge chunk of the money this week and any further donations in next few weeks)
