Following on from the thread that started about shoes and escalated to nearly 500 posts and a boden coat Trinty has emailed me back and we have finalised the list of things needed, if people have these things/have sent them could you post on here so I can amend the list and ensure Trinity doesnt get 345 sippy cups but no tights for dd2

Trinity's wish list
Tights - ages 9-10, 4-5/5-6, 2-3/3-4
socks - sizes 6, 8 and 10
sippy cups -
sheets - single/double or kingsize
bedding - single/double/kingsize
clothes 12/14
adult shoes - size 6,
baby clothes for DSS2's May arrival,
towels
forks
asda vouchers,
chick lit
John Grisham
Toys for the dog to chew :-)
Large saucepans (lots of people to feed in that house!!)
Beautiful Boden COat - sorted by fab mumsnetters

If anyone would like to donate funds (we have enough to get Trinity her new coat and a little bit spare) the paypal address is [email protected] and anything we collect now will be sent to Trinity as Asda vouchers to help with Christmas food/bits shop (I asked Trinity how she would prefer the funds spent and this was one of the ideas and she would really appreciate this)

Thankyou all!!

I just want to thank eandh for sorting this out. She is a fab mummy to two little girls and has hardly any spare time on her hands however she has spent the last few days glued to the laptop sorting things out.

Thanks for sorting this out for such a worthy cause. Trinity I hope this will help ease your families grief a little bit xx

TrinityHasAVampireRhino · 01/11/2009 12:47

Thankyou so much eandh for doing this for me
I just could not have done it myself
I cannot possibly explain how much this all means to me.

cantmummyhaveabreak · 01/11/2009 12:55

trinity- posted on the last thread:

'TRINITY???????

Need to ask a semi-personal question... you say you're a 12-14? but are you large chested? Only i bought a top today, size 14 from Bay, but it's small fitting and i'm very large up top and it just doesn't fit me at all.- i am a larger 14 (having just lost a bit of weight from a 16) and my first thought was that you may like the top... it's very nice, and would look fab with jeans (which was my plan).

If you want it even just to see if it fit's you're very welcome to it- i never return things as i'm too lazy shy to ask for a refund... but dont mind popping in the post on my nursery/school run on monday.'

Stayingscarygirl · 01/11/2009 12:57

Trinity - I will be putting a parcel in the post to you this week.

posieparker · 01/11/2009 13:14

Thanks eandh, it was very generous of you to organise this, can't think of a more deserving Mner than trinity though!

cookielove · 01/11/2009 14:47

Trinty, i have some tops i'll never wear, to short in the body, don't sit right on my funny sized body, most are 12-14 i think a few are fat face would you like them?

Pink and lighter pink layered top, with swirly flowery pattern long sleeved

Striped vest spagetti straped, withe red orange green thin strips

erm couple of t shirts and what nots?

atworknotworking · 01/11/2009 15:11

Why won't Tesco allow the vouchers to be used in TR's local store?

I have no experience of TESCO vouchers whatever but have had the odd Boots, HMV etc as gifts and have used them in any store nationwide.

Can someone enlighten me please.

TIA

BellaBonJovi · 01/11/2009 15:14

I think - not sure - it's the loyalty vouchers you get sent, which Tesco are saying can only be used by the cardholder who earned them.

Could be totally wrong.

atworknotworking · 01/11/2009 15:18

Thanx I'm googling now to see how system works.

TrinityHasAVampireRhino · 01/11/2009 15:19

oh cookielove they sound lovely
thankyou so much
xx

I just can't possibly say how much I appreciate all that everyone is doing

wilbur · 01/11/2009 15:39

I haven't been able to read whole thread but I know I have some 3/4 tights and poss 5/6 too that dd has grown out of. Some of them are blue or grey plain for school, and some of them more casual. I think I also also have some unisex baby clothes, some melamine plates, and a pair of high heeled black fabric (stretchy fabric) boots a bit like these but with a wider stacked heel and a more round toe. If these sound any good, let me know and I'll get your address from someone. xxx

TrinityHasAVampireRhino · 01/11/2009 15:43

oh wilbur they sound absolutely lovely

thankyou

jofeb04 · 01/11/2009 16:28

Hiya,

Can anyone email me Trinitys address please.

I may not be able to do anything till December, but I've got a load of crime fiction books, and will have more next month.

Its jo.powell01 at googlemail dot com

Thanks

TrinityHasAVampireRhino · 01/11/2009 16:29

yeah I did sorry
yes I will be in to recieve things
thanks xxx

ATortoiseisBetterThanABlackCat · 01/11/2009 18:56

Sorry, i didn't have enough in Paypal for courier so i have had to take a couple of bits out of the parcel to send RM standard parcels. I am sure TR will be getting lots anyway. Still have books, DVD's, Puzzles and a couple of clothes for kids in there.

eandh · 01/11/2009 19:01

tortoise - have sent you a CAT

OP posts:
ATortoiseisBetterThanABlackCat · 01/11/2009 20:59

OK eandh, i will keep an eye out for it.

BitMiffedReally · 01/11/2009 21:25

Namechanging regular here.

Have not contributed nor commented on either of these threads as i know i'd be flamed, but really.. i do understand how hard it must be for Trinity and her family, and i contributed to her original collection, however, i feel i cannot contribute to this as i feel that this is taking the piss somewhat.

Fair enough, her original post, Trinity asked if anyone would mind selling her a few pairs of shoes, but the way this has esculated is worrisome.

Now, correct me if i'm wrong, but before her husband died, Trinity had a household to run - did she not have plates, duvets, sheets and pots then either??

I'm not doubting that Trinity is genuine - what happened to her has been truly awful, horrific... but refurnishing her house??? Come on...

stressed2007 · 01/11/2009 21:30

Wilbur I have tried to cat you the address but CAT systen is not recognising your name. Do you have an email address?

MilkNoPoisonPlease · 01/11/2009 21:34

Do you not ever need to buy new pots duvet covers etc?

What has happened has (im sure) been absolutely horrendous and thinking about being able to afford to buy these things is not something trinity needs to worry about right now.

Nothing hasd been demanded nor have people been told to buy things, people have been wondeful nd offered things to help her. people hve given things destined for the charity shop or things they dont need/want

it is a true show of mumsnetters generosity, helping someone who so deserves it and needs it...i think what everyone is doing is wonderful nd i only wish i could help more, unfortunatly i cant.

dont like it dont donate...simple really

stressed2007 · 01/11/2009 21:35
