Macdog · 26/02/2010 09:56

I don't drive, remember, so I walk everywhere
Poor dd walks everywhere too, she loves the weekend when dh can drive us places!

Looking at boot porn now, thinking about army surplus boots....

pinkheart · 26/02/2010 21:31

Macdog · 28/02/2010 16:45

New boots purchased TA-DA!!

Fingers crossed they last a bit....

pinkheart · 28/02/2010 22:05

very nice, i thinki need a good pair of walking boots..
got a new bra today, gone down a band size but up a cup size dont quite know how that works but means i can fit into some of the even prettier ones. very nearly brought a bright pink one, but decided wouldnt get a lot of wear out of it as uniforms are white so cant really wear it for work!

Macdog · 02/03/2010 14:06

Was at bio-mechanics today. I've got pronation (sp?) in both ankles, so I've got to wear orthotic inserts in both boots.
Start with them in for an hour and increase daily wear.
So weird with them in, feel taller and stand straighter.

Hoping it will help the tendon pain I have

pinkheart · 02/03/2010 21:30

are they uncomfy?
i like the look of those reebok trainers that help you excersize more as you walk. i had a pair of scholl shoes that did that, felt it when you first used to wear them.

have we lost the other 2??

stripped the dog tonight as he had soooo much hair he looked a right state, got enought hair out to fill a trscos carrier. he loves it he lays down and stays still so i can do it, then when im finished he goes to pieces and has to run about like a mad man.

2 weeks till first exam arrhhhh!

pinkheart · 02/03/2010 21:33

jenn hasnt been in scince jan and voodoo scince 2009. i guess its just you and me now md

Macdog · 03/03/2010 09:36

Not really uncomfortable - just a bit different. Using muscles properly so feels a bit weird.

new boots are buggered - lace hook snapped this morning. I'm properly gutted - cast a bloody fortune
Taking them back to shop this afternoon - 20 mins on train, but dd doesn't mind
Might get a pair of trainers instead, can't be bothered with the aggro of boots

Used to love stripping out dogs

We can keep the home fires burning, Pinky

he managed 5 mins with out his dummy, oh well...

Jennster · 08/03/2010 21:03

Well dh and I are arguing so much recently I expected to get a lump of coal. I actually got a lovely dressing gown, Wii sports resort, a book of uk garden birds and a 'I'm Sorry I haven't a Clue' audio CD.

I was out on a hen night on Saturday night and stayed at my Mum and Dad's with DD2. They invited us to lunch, and dh said he'd rather not, so I made up an excuse. He also said as a sort of reason, that he was going to book a meal out for us but then I caused an arguement and so he didn't. He implied he didn't want a big lunch if we were going out to eat so I thought he was going to book. But no, I get home and he says he hasn't done anything and I end up having to cook the Roast Dinner.
Anyway we had a lovely day out today in Manchester, and he knows that nothing is sorted for dinner tonight, so I was thinking that perhaps he had secretly organised a meal out, but no. We pick the Dd1 and ds from nursery, and I have to cook them dinner from scratch and right now I'm still waiting for ours to cook, because by the time I've finished sorting the kids out, I come down and had to cook it myself. I don't mind but I hate eating so late, and it might have been nice to have had the offer of having dinner made at least, or a bath. We did spend a fortune in Wagamamas though for lunch.
