I have always considered myself working class as I work for a living..I've been to university, got a degree and have a professional qualification but recently at work I heard a couple of colleagues speak of themselves as middle class...doesn't really matter I suppose, just interested in opinions!!

I think we've done this before and it seems to come down to what bread you eat, or something...

geminigirl · 04/10/2009 00:11

Or do you say napkin or serviette!

blowbroth · 04/10/2009 00:27

NAPKIN every time. A serviette is somrthing you use during a period! So I was told.

teamcullen · 04/10/2009 00:27

Im working bloody hard and getting nowhere fast class.

Im waiting to become winning the lottery class (cos I deserve it)

Soon to become not fit to wipe your shitty shoe on class if the tories get in at the next election

ModernWank · 04/10/2009 00:34

Tortington · 04/10/2009 00:36

i own this

makes me upper class

geminigirl · 04/10/2009 00:38

I watched a very funny interview that John Prescott carried out with a young one who was on income support who said that she was middle class, not working class 'cos she didn't work!!

OP posts:
ModernWank · 04/10/2009 00:38

Is that a spork?

geminigirl · 04/10/2009 00:39

Ooh I say Custardo...very posh..but it really should be in Sterling Silver

OP posts:
teamcullen · 04/10/2009 00:40

custardo is your one made of silver?

You cant be upper class with plastic cutlery, no matter how ingenious it is

Monty100 · 04/10/2009 00:42

Custy - pmsl.

I'm working class me. I want an electric chip fryer too. Although I want it to cook hand cut refried chips of course.

That's serious.

geminigirl · 04/10/2009 00:43

...along with proper crockery and glasses in your wicker picnic baskets...God I actually have that...delusions of grandeur!!

OP posts:
cheeseandeyeballsarnie · 04/10/2009 00:45

im classless.

unquietdad-i make my own bread does that mean i can choose what class i am by what setting i chose?

geminigirl · 04/10/2009 00:45

A de Longhi would be a better class of one Monty....it has a French name ergo it must be posh!

OP posts:
UnquietDad · 04/10/2009 00:46

nah, that's so middle class, cheese!

geminigirl · 04/10/2009 00:48

But if you only make white bread in it and add smarties (blue ones) to it it might ground you a bit

OP posts:
cheeseandeyeballsarnie · 04/10/2009 00:51

oh bottom.

teamcullen · 04/10/2009 00:52

Dont you have to name your DCs rediculus beautiful names like Chardonay to be middle class

geminigirl · 04/10/2009 00:55

I'd say to be truly middle class you would use Pinot Noir or Sancerre or little Chablis.

Working class is 3bottlesofblossomhillforatenner.
