I know other people have bigger problems, but our 6 month old cat hasn't come home today and I'm heartbroken

He's the friendliest, daftest cat in the world - not afraid of anyone or anything and has never not come home before, so I can only assume he's either been run over or taken

He's so beautiful - ginger and white - and we've had him since he was 6 weeks old. He was neutered last week and I feel like we've only just got him and now he's gone.

Am trying very hard not to cry and lose the plot and have done notices to put up tomorrow and we'll phone all the local vets, but I think my lovely Barley has gone.

Congratulations! I hoped this would have a happy ending.

Hope you get a happy ending too, Ripeberry.

Awww. That's set me up for the day . Well done Dotty.

I took in a beautiful ginger cat once when I was heavily pg with dd. He turned up on my doorstep one filthy night. We already had our own cat but I soooooooo wanted to keep him. Anyway, I put up posters saying I'd found him on about 10 local roads and various people got in touch looking for their lost cats (and sadly he wasn't the right one for several of them). But when Seamus's owner did get in touch, after about a week, she came and collected him with a thanks (but no box of chocs or bottle of wine, which I thought was a little bit off if I'm honest).

Oh hurray!!!!!!

Hope Ripeberry gets good news soon too.

Bibbitybobbity - we went out and bought a box of chocs for the woman who had taken Barley to the vets as well as a box for a couple who I'd bumped into, cried all over and then helped me search..! I'm amazed at how many people in the area I've got to know just through blardy cat hunting!

Oh that is brilliant.

I still remember the feeling when my cat came back after a week and I heard her mewling at the door
