Oh, my DH found a giant, um, loofah in the bathroom the other day.

He screamed like a girl and ran into the bedroom, closing the door behind him, and demanded that I deal with said sp loofah.

I scooped the loofah up with my bare hands and escorted it off the premises.

Is it something like that?

Apparently loofah phobes don't like it when you run at them with said loofah cupped in your hands.

'Apparently loofah phobes don't like it when you run at them with said loofah cupped in your hands'

"waving AND clapping? How many hands has he got? Or is he not waving with his hands?"

Let me gloat too! Sod Loofahs/Spiders, my DH killed a mouse with the heel of his shoe a couple of months ago. (We'd tried every type of trap, incl humane ones to no avail)

And he can do a perfect Otis Redding impression. Been together for 6 years.

TrinityRhino · 21/08/2009 21:04

'Flake doesn't just live up my nose!'

I just spat wine on my laptop and made a weird snorty shriek laugh

dh has just asked me if I've already had a bottle of wine before the one I just opened

My DH can cycle waving and clapping too. In sexy lycra clothing

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand he killed a grasshoper earlier tonight.

MmeLindt · 21/08/2009 21:05

Grasshopper? Pedants, help me out here.

TrinityRhino · 21/08/2009 21:07

RustyBear · 21/08/2009 21:12

grasshopper is correct.
A grasshoper would presumably be someone expecting to obtain marijuana....

I did the cycling downhill with no hands aged 13 (to impress a boy, natch ) and fell flat on my face, no literally, flat on my face, no outstretched hands to break my fall. No helmets in them days either (late Victorian ). Cue severe concussion, unconscious for 24 hrs, cannot remember the first 24 hrs I was apparently awake, lost 6 teeth, broke nose, facial abrasions incl loss of eyebrow and permanent scar.
So, cool, yes, but has it's downsides....

Gosh, make myself sound like a real catch, don't I? On the upside I am not scared of 6 or 8 legged creepy-crawlies [proud]..

MmeLindt · 21/08/2009 21:17

at Rusty's grasshoper

You know when you write something down and it just does not look right, but when you correct it it does not look right either? I am too lazy to look up a dictionary.

MmeLindt · 21/08/2009 21:17

PD
Was the boy suitably impressed?

PacificDogwood · 21/08/2009 21:19

Can't remember .

JulesJules · 21/08/2009 21:24

Bit disappointed it wasn't the pig thing, actually.

Lulubee · 21/08/2009 21:34

I hate the word bumsex but you don't catch me asking for it not to pop up in thread titles.

Spider spider SPIDER.

frakkinpannikinAGRIPPA · 21/08/2009 21:49

I killed a mouse by kicking my shoe off (in a very violent manner which my mother despises) just after coming in from school once. The sort of kicking where your shoe ends up a good 6 feet away from you and has a near brush with the lampshade on the way.

Chunky heel - 1, mouse - 0

Flower3545 · 31/08/2009 12:15

I wanted to bump this thread

The love Trinity feels for her Dh shines out of it. xxx

Portofino · 31/08/2009 12:41

Well done Flower - though i am crying now! I have read about a succession of Fuckwit men on MN this morning who just don't deserve their lovely families. And this gorgeous, caring guy is no more! It's a tragedy!

Flower3545 · 31/08/2009 12:50

My sentiments exactly Porto, it is indeed a tragedy.

What's that ridiculous expression, "only the good die young" why should they bloody die at all

Wonderstuff · 31/08/2009 12:52
Sad
nickschick · 31/08/2009 12:54
