Please cross your fingers for KangaBoy on Monday ..... He has an audition for Les Miserables in West End

DS has been asked to go for an AUDITION on Monday

For the part of GAVROCHE

This is the first Audition he has ever done

MarsLady told us about the cheap tickets for the west end and we took him to see LES MISERABLES and he was hooked

Sleepy Jess sent us some CDs as well.

Please have your fingers crossed on Monday for him.

But congratulations for getting as far as you have Kangaboy - even if this is as far as you've got - a great achievment!

Well we are back

Unfortunatley DS didn't get the part

But he is very excited that he got to go on the stage and see the barricades and Javert's bridge, the red flag the gates to Valjean's house, the Bishop's table and lots more

Unfortunatley DH and I didn't get to go on the stage

He had a DEFFO BRILL time this morning though.

So we are going to book for him to the LES MIS KIDS CLUB on a saturday morning and then to the show in the afternoon

Sorry he didn't get the part, but sounds like he had a great time there today.

He was very excited when he came back to waiting area about all that he had seen

I could tell straight away that he hadn't got the call back cos he wasn't carrying a letter so didn't need to ask but he was so pleased that he had seen so much

We are both so proud of him for trying

well done for getting to the audtions in the first place - sounds like he really enjoyed it - and as they say "the only way is up" from here

well done to ds for trying and being happy and enjoying the experience rather than getting upset at not getting the part. Especially well done to mum and dad who have brought him up with this attitude. He will go far!

Oh WOW Kangamummy have only just seen this!!! I think Kangaboy is a real star.. what an experience to audition for Les Mis!! My kids love all the music as well, but no way would they have the confidence to audition!!! (Or the ability sadly, lol..although DD is a cracking little dancer!)

I have hardly listened to my cds since I missed out on going because of the snow in March.. .. still not over the disappointment!! SCREAM EMOTICON!!!!.. but DD is always making me sing Castle On A Cloud (badly!) with her anyway!

I am SO in awe of your Kangaboy...! Don't blame you for being proud! Glad the cds are being put to good use

Thank you so much for taking the time to wish him good luck or "break a leg" and then the hugs after we have come home.

The children in his class were asking him about it when he got to school.

I phoned his Granny and Grandpa and they were proud of him too for his attitude

We are coming down to earth now

As soon as I get the date for the summer tickets I'll post. I promise! Normally know about mid June the date the ticket line opens in July. And when I say the lines are open then you'd better get in quick. Kids go free at the end of August and last year was extended to the first week of September as well. Brilliant!
