so giraffski are you phoning them tomoz and asking to speak to the manager and complaining? ask them to send you a copy of the form they recieved - as will have the date stamp on as mentioned before. ask for a complaints form. get your mum to phone tory twotfecker MP. ask for the person you have to speak to specifically and see if you can make an appointment to sort it out.

eh? eh? well are you?

fresh air is just so lovely to live on - big fat NOT.

Can I advise you not to speak direstly with the processors. Ask to speak to line managers or even better the "HEO" who is the manager up from them.

I had similar problem Giraffeski. I made a claim when I split from DH. His claim went down but I didn't get the money. My parents were in a position to help me but why should they? I too was told well you have your child benefit. big deal £38.60 doesn't go far. So I took all 3 DSs down to the jobcentre, I told the assessment clerk I was not leaving empty handed and let the boys run riot, not good I know but. Funnily enough I got my giro and it was back dated

It is always so much the way that it is when you are so close to the damned edge of financial desperation that these things happen
Not once when I was in well paid employment with a mortgage and disposable income did the bank charge me for erring on the overdrawn side, they would ring and offer to tide me over for my oversight.
However when on benefits, they charged like wounded bulls with steaming hot chili peppers up their bums, and not one child benefit payment or tax credit payment has gone adrift since that time either, but of course on benefits they were regularly never there.
It really pisses me off and on your behalf I am enraged!
I'd certainly follow darlingbuds advice and ask for a senior manager type chap/ess to sort this out pronto for you.
on your behalf

darlingbud · 13/05/2005 21:19

Giraffeski - just say you have a friend who is an SEO (higher than HEO) in another office who has told you to ask for the HEO as she knows the system and has advised you to do that as you feel you are getting nowhere with the staff you have dealt with so far. Be prepared for them to try and obstruct you seeing them BTW.

thats ok bills in the post!!

Seriously - you just have to be firm with them. I know this is no excuse but morale is really low in our organisation as many of us are facing redundancy. Most people will find out next week.

If you just keep on at them and speak to senior managers about customer service you should get somewhere. take copies of all the things you send the and only sdestry copies when you know action has been done.

Evening Gski. No not an AN - family dinner. Am back !

Hey, in a photo album tonight I saw a giraffe with an unusal spot pattern. Very interesting. Instead of the more usual 'imperfect spot' shape, its spots were much more jaggedy. Apparently there are a few diffferent patterns... I'd never realised.

Really glad you spoke to your ma and got some supplies in, even if you had to gobble a little pride. Am sure she was, deep down, pleased to be able to help, and not not just in a 'snidey,' 'told you so' way.

Re: staff you've been dealing with... it's easy for me to say, I wasn't on the receiving end nor facing the implications of having no money, but I'd forget about the people who treated you so badly. They're not doing their job well for whatever reason. Keep calm in your mind. When you get the chance, complain to the RIGHT person... a SENIOR person. I get the impression you will be able to put your point across with perfect clarity, receive an honest, instant apology, and will be assured the forms get processed quickly.

I didn't laugh, but I did think about you because I knew you would have loved to look through the album. There was one giraffe shot that only had a portion of the body (no legs / neck visible, just the texture / patterning)... it was really beautiful.... in the same way that a horse in great condition just looks and feels delish !

Just scanned your egg craving... odd... maybe you need to boost protein from some other source ? Or supplement omegas / vits / whatever you might be missing to give you the craving ? Or maybe it's that whole Japanese Way of the Noddle / slurpy sexual thing ??? (Have you seen the film to which I'm referring ? Can't remember the title, only that it had some way out yoofs discovering life in strange ways and strange hotels with Elvis prints on the wall or sommit).

Am sure that whenever you return to work your $$$ situation will radically improve. (Well, it can't get any worse, can it ???)

We can have a head scratchy about ways of making money (accommodating dd) that might give you more income than IS / benefits etc. stuff we talked about last night, or other ideas, I dunno...

Deffo. Art film. purleasseeee.... I am a man of dignity.

Will find it on IMDB.

You're v. wrong about the eggs... should've studied something useful at uni !!! Albumin is probably close to 100% protein (maybe a bio bod can correct)... yolk is more fatty / colesterol etc. that's whay heart attack and health people go for white egg omlettes.

That nappy lady type idea I mentioned would be good maybe... or does it not sound like your cup of chai ?
