dobber clobber - as called by Dave Spikey.

You need a t-shirt with a teddy on it saying "hug me".

Your dh/dp should wear le coq sportif bottoms set off with a lovely pair of brown shoes and white socks. he should also have a burberry baseball cap (not real - £2.99 from the outdoor market)and a replica football shirt with number peeling off the back.

another thing to do Giraffeski is to throw a fit and offer to leave your kids in reception so that "you lot can bloddy feed them then as I've no F-ing money thanks to you lot".

Yes that has been done before now - had a lovely baby left in its pushchair in the waiting area. NICE

marthamoo · 12/05/2005 22:06

I called social services of course. she came back before they arrived though then said she knew where I parked my car and would be waiting for me when I left the office to stab me.

(I didn't tell her I actually got the bus) lol

Ooooh I've seen it all.

people can resport to anything when desperate. I'm afraid its human nature. thats the sad part of my job (or my old job as don't do it anymore).

I work with disabled people now - still with JC+.

misdee · 12/05/2005 22:13

sorry misdee - been to loo. Right SDP (I charge £1000 per hour for consulting after hours you know) lol - i hope the following makes semse. I've tried to simplify it.

The severe disability premium
If you are single you may get the lower rate premium if:

no one else lives with you and you get the middle or highest rate of the care component of DLA and no one gets Carer?s Allowance (CA) for looking after you.
If you have a partner you may get the higher rate premium if:

  • you and your partner both get the middle or highest rate of the care component of DLA, no one else lives with you and no one gets CA for looking after either of you
  • you get the middle or highest rate of the care component of DLA and your partner gets Attendance Allowance (AA), no one else lives with you and no one gets CA for looking after either of you.

If you have a partner you may get the lower rate premium if no one else lives with you and

  • the middle or highest rate of the care component of DLA is paid to both of you, and CA is in payment for only one of you
  • the middle or highest rate of the care component of DLA is paid to you, your partner gets AA, and CA is in payment for only one of you
  • the middle or highest rate of the care component of DLA is paid to you, your partner is blind and CA is not in payment. In this situation the person with the DLA must be the claimant.

The enhanced disability premium
You may be able to get this premium if you or your partner get the highest rate of the care component of DLA.

misdee · 12/05/2005 22:27

very confusing. dh gets high rate dla (both parts) i get CA but thats claimed for my dd bot for dh.

hub2dee · 12/05/2005 22:27

darlingbud · 12/05/2005 22:33
