Five year old keeps chewing the teat from his bottle.

My five year old will only eat crisps. To make sure he gets enough sugar, I give him warm sugary tea in a bottle. I've noticed he chews the teat and the tea spills everywhere. Should I introduce a cup or just supplement with Haribou?

morningpaper · 10/05/2005 20:10

fairyfly · 10/05/2005 20:14

just get stoned and fuck feeding him, before you know it he''l be off your hands anyway

morningpaper · 10/05/2005 20:15

fuck feeding? Is that like cluster feeding?

I think that's what cluster feeding should be called...

CountessDracula · 10/05/2005 20:16

what is cluster feeding?

Twiglett · 10/05/2005 20:17

ROFL (specially at MP)

morningpaper · 10/05/2005 20:18

It's when your baby screams hysterically if you dare remove your breast from its mouth any time between 6pm and midnight.

CountessDracula · 10/05/2005 20:18

omg

torture you mean?

CountessDracula · 10/05/2005 20:19

(may I just point out that the g in omg stood for goodness-gracious-me)

Twiglett · 10/05/2005 20:19

but seriously

you should make sure you vary the type of crips to make sure that you cover all food groups

so for example

chicken crisps (for protein) and cheese & onion (calcium / protein and veg)

oh and if you add a shot of vodka in the tea he'll sleep through the night for you

fairyfly · 10/05/2005 20:19

oh i've just dampened my knickers slightly mp you do make me laugh

morningpaper · 10/05/2005 20:20

Yes - they tried it at Abu Graib but Amnesty put a stop to it after protests

RTKangaMummy · 10/05/2005 20:21

What flavour crisps are they?

Bacon or Chicken or Beef so getting meat

Cheese and Onion = milk and veg

Salt and vinegar = sodium and vitamin and minerals

A very balanced diet IMHO

morningpaper · 10/05/2005 20:21

(that was referring to torture, not knicker-wetting)

Must go and scrub my kitchen floor now

Twiglett · 10/05/2005 20:21

He used to eat only Wotsits but his face was permanently orangey yellow and the HV had him admitted to hospital with suspected jaundice. He now becomes hysterical if he sees a sunbed.
