am trying to organise a photobook for my PIL wedding anniversary.
collecting stacks of old pics from random family members I've barely met before.

Busy scanning them in at moment - then the tricky bit of organising them into some sort of order

off to buy new school shoes to day ready for next week. ds1 had a pair of hush puppie shoes which lasted him the whole year, very impressed with them. were £40 but to last the year was well worth it, no falling apart or unstiching, just needed blacking on the toes after he scuffed them a few times.
see which ones he will pick today

and ds2 needs some shoes really having spent the past 3 months in crocs could do with shoes or trainers ready for autum.
then off to norwich for some shopping in borders (ds1's fave shop) and to get a pencil case, (for me!!!)

Dd being baptised tomorrow. I went for a spray tan. My first ever. I now have Lilypadz (stick on reusable breast pads) shaped white patches. That is flower shaped.

so i have brought some freezer tubs/lids ready to start a lots of batch cooking for teas as im going to be full time now. and my question is... i brought fresh mince then froze it (as i do a months shopping at once) then once i have defrosted it made it in to what i was going to make, can i then refreeze it again? can i do this with chicken breasts too?

i was going to make lots of shepards pie, spag bog, curries,etc etc.

my slow cooker is now going to get lots of use.

am redecorating my bedroom, (15% off in homebase today) have to sand down the doorframes, skirtingboards and picture rails, then sugar soap everything. ready to start painting tomorrow.
the walls are going to be dulux satin bow and woodwork is blossom white. and im going to paint my pine mirror frame to match wood. never had a pink bedroom before as im normally not into girly girly things but decided i like it so will try it this way. its meant to be vintage pink colours.

will do pictures when its finished, before and afters lol.

Mince is fine to thaw, cook and freeze again.
I do loads of stuff like that (when I can be arsed)

Shed has new watertight (touch wood) roof , and I am covered in Bitumen adhesive

Took dd to theme park today with tesco vouchers. there was a music festival on, car park busy - but theme park itself was quiet

dp was meant to be moving out today, except the person who he was going to be renting a room from got hit by a car friday night and has now been airlifted from my hospital to addenbrookes for treatment for their head injuries. they were drunk and walking home from the club at 2am. dont know what else happened though yet.
one thing after another...
he's contacted some one else now to stay with them instead.

Baptism went very well thanks. Lovely time was had by all. Loads of booze left, but we got it at cost price from a friend who runs our local shop. We had Lancashire Hot Pot and lovely puds from local bakers.

Flowery tits are fading. Was funny though.

Worley sorry dp couldn't move out today. Def. fine with cooking previously frozen meat and then refreezing it. Do it all the time.

thankyou, will be doing that later on then, cooking tea for the rest of this week. now going to do my online shopping session.
have to wait in all day for new washing machine to arrive, i got a new tumble dryer to but wont need to use it for ages, just got it ready as starting work weds. am on my last night duty tomight for work, for bankholidays and weekdays that is. i am still on the weekend emergency cover rota until end of october. gonna be hard, as not only full time still have to fit in doing the on call at weekends as cant do them mid week in ultrasound.

my dog stinks. he has had 2 baths this week and i have now discovered he smells because when he is cocking his leg over something his aim isnt good and some how manages to pee up his front leg. disgusting. he smells like an old peoples home. gross. gonna have to wash his legs again in a bit.

washing machine and tumble dryer arrived. whoo hoo. have 3 weeks of washing to catch up on now.

i caught ds2 drinking out of the guinea pig bottle. he turned it round from the cage and was standing there drinking from the spout. disgusting child. i swear he must get it from his dads family.

brrrr its bloody freezing

and its just rained on my washing again..

and how depressing is the news? 10yr old boys like wild animals, and now babies' remains in Liverpool.

packing going ok except Ive packed a load of winter clothes/cosytoes/wooly hats and now all of a sudden I need them, and dont need all the summertime crapola. Argh!

just packed the popcorn maker..so no popcorn for 2 weeks ha ha.

WoooooooooHOoooooooooo Voodoo. That's great news. Weather crapola here too. Just started bucketing down again. Amgoing to have to think carefully about the clothes we're taking away in a week.

Dd2 just had her last lot of injections for a few months now. Was going to get her weighed but they've moved the baby clinic time to when they don't give injections. STUUUUUUUUUUUPID.
