I got the place at city university london!!!! i start 1 day a week for a year from 23rd sept! im sooooo excited.

had a fab time in london, stayed at travel lodge farrington, got tube in to leicester square, had tea at an angus steak house, then lots of woo woos in a slug and lettuce before tubing back home. after interview this afternoon we went to camden market which was good. i went with my friend while dp stayed at home with the ds's

off to somerset tomorrow fropped dog off at kennels tomorrow, done lots of washing at the launderette today as my machine broke down, typicallly just when i had 4 dqys of washing to catch up on.

Hope you have a good time Macdog. U2 aren't my thing. I had a housemate who was absolutely mad for them. She must have seen them in nearly every country they've ever played in.

Voodoo, there is a Ligularia called Skyrocket. I'm guessing that's the one you've got in your garden. Mine is a tiny one. I can't wait to get it in the ground.

I am so tired. It's not the quantity of sleep, but the quality. I'm barely awake more than a minute when feeding dd2, but the next 3 hours of lying in an awkward position isn't the way to get quality sleep. Going to have to try and wake up and feed sitting up.

Voodoo, just looked at pictures of 'The Rocket' not skyrocket and it's not the one you have..... Oh well.

Nice and quiet today. dd back at Nursery so enjoying the peace and quiet

so much for nice quiet day. went to collect dd from nursery, noticed her jeans were soaked. She'd had an accident and no-one noticed.
have mentioned it to a member of staff, but will have a word again when I drop her off tomorrow.
probably just excitement of being back, teamed with having sleepover last night.

well, been spending naughty money on a booster chair seat for ds to eat at table with us as I want to bin that bloody filthy high chair of ours, Im certainly not moving house with it...and it wont fit in my tiny new kitchen anyway!!

It is inflatable and has a fast inflate valve
and folds up into a little bag, so it can come to restaurants, no more sticky high chairs.

Also just spent £40 on packing boxes, they should arrive tomorrow. Glad they come with bubble wrap, tape and even a marker pen!

no wind for flying kites this pm so we played with the garden hose, silly dd shot it into her mouth and nearly drowned, I had to bend her over till she coughed it all out. she was ok though.
she fell off the small slide steps backwards today too, must be a full moon

this thread is terribly slow for my computer to load, fo some reason, the rest on MN is fine, and FB.

I think we need a booster too Voodoo. Dd1 is on one because she is tiny and refuses to even occasionaly kneel up in restaurants, and ds just wants what dd1 has. He is so cute. He got dressed by himself this morning.

well all back home and back to reality again.
had a good time, weather was ok but i think it has been warmer at home than where we were. it rained nearly all yesterday so spent most of the day in the pool, ds2 learnt to do the doggy paddle by himself. he screamed blue murder when we got him out as he loved it sooo much. we went to wookey hole, cardiff castle and cardigan bay, to the dr who exhib. at the millenium centre, cheddar gorge, and longleat (but the moonkeys were closed much to the disapointment of ds1 and 2) so my car is intact still. just have lots of washing to do now and no washing machine as mine broke so going to go sit in the launderette for an hour i think. great.
this years dr who has been filmed at the wookey hole caves so ds1 was pleased, turned into a right dr who holiday!! ds2 was petrified of the daleks and cybermen. he screamed and shook when we had to walk past them. cause they moved and spoke. hes not as big and brave as he makes out lol

fb wont let me edit them to wrote where they were, dont know why, its playing me up i think, i just wrote a long email to my friend who also got a new job in london and going to be at city with me, but it went after i finshed typing all the reading list to her, pressed send and then it blanked on me, blooming internet
