i have a horrid cold again, second one this month, and i now have 3 days off, typical.

been to airshow this afternoon, ds2 loved the red arrows. we watched thewm up on one of the cliffs away from the air show/holiday makers area. and they flew level with the top of the cliff so really close.

Took dd over to the playday at Millport, on Cumbrae, yesterday.
Feels like a proper day out: train to Largs, Ferry to Cumbrae and bus to Millport.
Stopped off at the wee museum/aquarium too. dd loves going there to look at the fish/crabs/starfish etc.
We had a great time, then left a bit earlier to beat the rush for the bus/boat/train home again

Half way through the holidays now....countdown is beginning ..........

Macdog that's so weird. Round here, some schools only finished the day before yesterday.

Hope you feel better soon Worley. I'll share the hot chocolate with you. Anybody else? It's got to have cream on it.

Going to see my sis today and my cousin too. Cousin lives in Sale not Hale so not too much of a detour.

i love hot choc with cream and marshmallows been to norwich with my parents and the boys today, had nandos for lunch, wandered round the shops then finished with coffee and cake in john lewis before heading back to the car.

ds2 has took to hiding up behind the toy box to do his number 2's. he will not poop in his potty for some reason. bizarre child.

Made it to the top of the Abbey tower today - despite nearly passing out with fright

rest all day, do nothing, have hot bath and lots of nice food

off to pick a dvd with the boys to watch. and movie food.

we have decided tuesday to make a picnic and go for a walk over the fields, taking the dog and find some where to sit and eat the picninc, as ds2 wants the picnic!
might wear them out for the day, im working the evening so we have most of the day to walk

So much for resting - took dd to Loch Lomond Sealife.
Bit of a disaster - their stairs were being fixed, so EVERYONE was crammmed into teeny lifts to go anywhere
Really busy too, so ended up wandering along the banks of the Loch

went to a chavvy party at neighbours it was awful. I made my excuses and left as soon as I could saying ds needed a nap.
Im not a snob, but jeez.

still dreadfully dizzy and weird, like fighting off a bug. maybe too tired/stressed.

have a feeling bejewelled blitz may give me a stroke, makes my eyes funny.

im going to have to look this bejwelled up, not played it but keeps seeing all these peoples high scores coming up.

have written 5 mini essays this evening, for my continued professional development stuff, in case i get an interview, im so slack, im meant to have been doing bits for years but havnt, now i need it i have loads to do. i have just written up a reflective account about a trauma patient, a forensics lecture i went to, an A&E lecture and a few bits on doing dental xrays. i still have to write up about reading chest xrays and working in intensive care. its hard work, just getting stuff done for an interview, how i would cope with a years post grad i dont know!!! maybe it would be best if i didnt get it??

and i have this weird cold thing, where only my left nostril is blocked at least i can breathe through the other one!
one of the girsl at work is off sick, shes meant to have swine flu, but shes posting on facebook about going out dancing and drinking yesterday i wonder if other from work have seen it as well....

This swine flu thing is great for skivers. Until they get it for real!

Didn't get to my cousin's as we had such a good time at the pub in Didsbury. Ever been to the Metropolitan Voodoo?

I have swollen glands. All under my jaw is sore. No temp so I'm OK.

my mum recks it could be low BP (like hers)
anaemia or stress.

I also have to concentrate to read, type on keyboard, like my eyes dont move fast enough and my left hand went numb and tingly at work yesterday.

I rang nhs direct but they said millions of things make you dizzy so see if get further symptoms.

I had the beefburger with blue cheese sauce. It was lovely.
