Apart from pat self on back?

I am thinking of retraining but no idea about jobs. Those are the things I'm considering studying - what REAL ACTUAL JOBS might I get with a postgrad MA/PHD in them?

I mean ones that pay money. Any money. But must be money.

Thanks dearies.

Swedes is actually very natty dresser. I OTOH am a serial Boden offender.

'Fraid so. I'm a sucker for a pretty print.

ruty, that's what spidermama calls 'keep-your-hands-off-my-daughter nightwear'

Lenin - I always call them layering pieces.

Swedes · 17/04/2009 23:35

Lenin - So in asking do you wear Boden, you were really saying I think you are a twat, can you please confirm for me that you are in fact a twat?

ruty · 17/04/2009 23:37

I'm a twat and so are all my layering pieces.

Swedes · 17/04/2009 23:39

Ruty -

Boden is used as some sort of yardstick on here (I say 'some sort' because I've never quite worked out what it is). Similar level of dismissal to 'chav' I think but with different alcohol/holiday preferences.

(Disclaimer: hate the word 'chav', don't use it meself.)

I'd never heard of Boden before MN.

BTW Lenin, if you are serious I wouldn't go for Lenin but Lennon is way cool!

Lenin - No need to apologise. I'm not easily offended.

Threadworm · 18/04/2009 10:16

I knew someone who knew someone called Lenin. He was a man so could shorten to Len, and was older, so lots of Soviet Communists around (and lots of Lens).

I've always favoured the non-conspicuous name choices -- but that is because I am an INFP.

If a girl, how about Rosa (Luxembourg)?

Threadworm · 18/04/2009 10:17

(I haven't a clue what Boden is. I only know that it is something to laugh at.)

Threadworm · 18/04/2009 10:19

Two mums and a dad. How lovely. My boys seem to need so MUCH fom me so much mum, dad not so tuned in to their souls that more than one mum seems an obvious solution.
