I've always rather liked Nicolas Cage (pre Captain C) in the plane film when he wore a nice dirty vest!

I'll also admit to Alan Davies (Jonathan Creek) don't know why, perhaps he needs mothering?

With you all the way on Nicolas Cage - something a little 'bad' about him that I really like !!!!Can't see what all the fuss is about with George Clooney (but then I never got into ER, can't watch hospital dramas!)

Him Indoors thinks I'm slightly strange though - I've always gone weak at the knees at Christopher Walken and all he ever plays is weirdos .. explain that to me please.

Emmy · 12/05/2001 21:15

Carter from ER, definitely my favourite............he can examine me any time.

Oh definitely Dr Kovac on ER and Carter, also think Robbie Williams is just, hmmmmmmmm, oh the mind boggles, and I'll join Batters in a dribble as well!

Janh · 13/05/2001 16:43

george clooney is ok from some angles but his eyes are too close together. and did anyone see that old pic of him in sky magazine this month with the silly expression and pounds of curly black hair? put me right off!
i'd rather have old luka any day. mark greene is cute too. and harrison ford in raiders of the lost ark. dribble dribble from me too, batters! and there is another one along the lines of young robbie but i can't remember who it is now...

Paula1 · 13/05/2001 18:05

OK, so now you'll all know I'm mad.... Tom
Cruise, Chris Evans, Mick Hucknall, Jimmy Nail. Not quite sure what it would mean if I saw an analyst, but who cares. Oh, yeah, also that doctor from Holby City (Alex I think).

Peaches · 13/05/2001 18:14

I'd have to say Ronan Keating as I saw him in concert at Wembley last night, but my fav man who I've adored since my teens has to be Tom Cruise. He still makes me weak when I watch Top Gun.

Candy · 13/05/2001 18:47

Having never seen ER, I don't know any of them but my partner's been told he loks like Dr Green. I'm afraid I have utterly weird tastes - Morrissey anyone? Vinnie Jones? Wes Bentley and Tom Cruise for gorgeous eyes and Daniel Day Lewis' cheekbones!

Rhiannon · 13/05/2001 19:27

Oh forgot all about Robbie Williams, sorry Robbie, love you.

I think there's something quite sweet about Martin Clunes too!

Neil Morrissey was on a plane I was on over Christmas and he was so kind and friendly to everyone. He was being constantly bugged by mothers and little kids holding Bob the Builder books to sign, Hugo Speers (Full Monty) was there too and everone ignored him!

I'll admit to Monty Don too!! Nice hands.

Jeremy Northam as Mr Knightley in Emma, thanks. Looks like I've got him to myself, better than job-sharing Robbie Williams or Noah Wyle any day. Of course, people are always remarking how much I resemble Gwyneth Paltrow.

Hmonty · 14/05/2001 15:16

You think that's weird...Does anyone else like Tim from Spaced (Channel 4, Friday evening...no longer..sob)?? Although, more predictably I have to have a quick lust after Russell Crowe...Must have been those knees in Gladiator. Not normally my type at all but if he drove up to my front door on a chariot I'd definitely invite him in for a cup of tea.

Jac · 14/05/2001 17:53

Having seen Bridget Jones the other night, I think Colin Firth is rather nice. You lot can keep your Russell crowes and George (I talk through my nose) Clooney!

Paula 1 apart from your first and last choices, I can see that it's personality that really counts!!

Lizzer · 14/05/2001 20:39

Hmonty I'm with you! Tim from Spaced- just so cute ahhh... can't believe it's over- how much funnier can it get?! Fridays just aren't the same anymore!

As for the Hollywood pack it's got to be Johnny Depp - anyone who's seen 'Chocolat' has to agree, anyone that hasn't seen it, watch it now!

Janh · 15/05/2001 09:05

talking of bridget jones...hugh grant with the short haircut he now has for just a boy...and he's nearly old enough for me too (in my dreams!)

Carter from ER is just scrumptious, although I can't help wondering if he is a bit squeaky clean in real life.
Robbie is cuteness itself and just so cheeky. I bet he would be such a laugh but maybe a bit moody though.
Alex, Auzzie doctor from Holby City, is a bit delicious too - what is it with medical programmes?
However, my all time favourite is Sean Connery when he was younger (alot younger). I know he is not very PC etc but when he was in the early Bond films he was just fantastic.

Jac · 15/05/2001 14:48

Hey what aussie doctor from Holby, I watch it every week, but he doesn't sound aussie to me. I know he starred in that Natalie whatshername's video but is he aussie??

Bugsy · 15/05/2001 15:06

Now you ask Jac, I'm not sure. He seems to have some sort of accent though.

Jewel · 16/05/2001 20:40

Bugsy - Is the Holby City doctor you lust after Mr Adams? Did you see him last week with his shirt off. Gorgeous or what!
I also have to admit to strange taste in men. My dream date would be Michael Ball. Am I the only person who thinks he's yummy? In my youth I really fancied George Michael but I don't think I stand a chance there!!

Bugsy · 17/05/2001 09:33

Yup Jewel, it is Mr Adams. Yum, yum. I'm very worried about your Michael Ball fixation though. How can you fancy someone who is always photographed with soft focus?

Jac · 17/05/2001 09:46

Ok, I've got to ask, who killed Victoria? Is it the young girl or her ex Guy?? I have to confess to another weird fixation, I'm over it now though. It's Mr Meyer. There said it goodbye.

Bugsy · 17/05/2001 11:19

Or could it have been Alex Adams other woman????? My own money is on Guy, nasty piece of work!
Understand where you're coming from with Mr Meyer but he's alarmingly clinical. I'd be worried that he'd use the proper medical terms for bits & bobs and that would put me off. Sorry, I always get caught up in the detail!

Jodee · 17/05/2001 11:34

What is this obsession with TV doctors!!!
I've never met any like that in my NHS hospital (they must all work in the private ones) but if any looked like Clooney there is NO WAAAY I would bare all for an exam, I would be too embarrassed, being follically-challenged in the wrong places (you with me girls - you know who you are!)
