Well maybe start with the ones you sent it too - just seems strange that the virus has come from a different email address but still one that can be identified as you. Makes me think the virus has infected your address book, so notifying everyone is an extra precaution.

So has nobody else had virus problems with this then?

I am still getting anywhere from 3 to 12 emails per day, all containing the virus. No major problem because I don't open them, but very annoying.

i am getting this all the time I think it serves me right for looking at her pics!I have protection on my pc but it just alerts me to them so I can delete Not sure ho wto get rid permanently

My machine is clear - but someone's somewhere has the netsky worm and is sending it out. Don't think we can get rid of it nh, the source machine needs to be cleared.

Don't know ggg - if your Norton is up to date then you should be fine. If you really want to be sure there is a specific Netsky worm removal program (see link further down page).

I have a list of the email addresses that the mails have allegedly come from (they all actually come from the same source and disguise the address). The infected machine probably has all or most of these in the address book.

A lot of people have my address because of photo resizing etc, so it could be practically anyone and they might not even know.
