Go on, indulge a theory of mine for a moment. Would you mind just writing down the ages of your children please?

Mine are 8, 7, 5, and 2.

Thanks. I'll let you know my theory if I get enough responses.

Wow BigLips - I thought you must have gone crazy with adopting your three for a moment!

(then I realised you're just being really specific about your one )

JustFlumAgain · 21/04/2005 12:33

My theory about the theory is that we all love being asked about our kids so will answer with gusty and often with knobs on.

Such as my dd is 1 and a quarter but I can also tell you that she is very cute and says 'oh dear' all the time

Just changed my name - on my way back to my proper name: Flum

is just no longer ski season so skibunny seems innapropriate

pindy · 21/04/2005 12:39

Yep Flum - I think your theory is spot on!

Kayleigh · 21/04/2005 12:39

Have a picture in my head of Lonelymum plotting all these ages on a graph and pressing manically on calculator buttons

almostanangel · 21/04/2005 12:42

hair in a bun and glasses on the end of her nose!!

PiccadillyCircus · 21/04/2005 12:45

Right at the beginning of this she said that JoolsToo with 32,30 and 28 had ruined her theory already.

Maybe something to do with ages of children? Or the time of day that people with different ages of children would be using Mumsnet?

You can tell that DS is having a nap and I'm avoiding doing useful things can't you .

Merlin · 21/04/2005 12:45

4 1/2 and 11 days.

Mum2girls · 21/04/2005 12:47

I thought, no, she wouldn't, but she did.

Tarantula - you're an evil, evil woman and you will never get to heaven.

Miaou · 21/04/2005 12:48

7 (8 next month), 6, and baby due in July

lilibet · 21/04/2005 12:48

This theory is taking some time!

Lonelymum · 21/04/2005 12:50

Ok the theory didn't work. But whilst I am checking my Maths, I thought you would all like to know that of those who replied, our children's joint ages come to 917 years!

JoolsToo, JanH and Suedonim's children's ages total 232 of those years! How does that make you fee3l girls?

OP posts:
Lonelymum · 21/04/2005 12:52

935 years with Miaou and Merlin.

Still checking Maths... and I am using pencil and paper and do not wear glasses or have a bun!
