Got to dress 1950s......What should I wear?

DH and I have been invited to a 50th birthday party and we have to dress in 1950s wear. Somebody tell me what we should wear (being such a spring chicken lol) please!

Grease was set in the 50s - have you got it? Lots of inspiration on there. Lovely full skirts and little tight cardys and bobby sox.

this week's Grazie magazine has a lot of 50's inspired frocks in it if you feel like splashing out.

Did this a few years ago - found a marvellous 50's style skirt in a charity shop - not sure if I still have it, but if I do, you'd be welcome to it! Is navy with white polka dots - have a horrid feeling it went though, but will have a look if you like. Think it's size 14 or 16.

I totally agree on the Rizzo score.

Oh pants - can't find it - think I must have sent it on (correctly thinking I'd never fit into it again)! Am so sorry for giving false hope - I got so excited there - it was a fab skirt and perfect for a 50's occasion. Darn and (insert suitable expletives!)
