Got to dress 1950s......What should I wear?

DH and I have been invited to a 50th birthday party and we have to dress in 1950s wear. Somebody tell me what we should wear (being such a spring chicken lol) please!

Am watching it in my ebay. May bid on it. Only 22 hours to go. You may have to remind me almost. It's gorgeous. My waist may not be petite enough though. So, total diet regime for me. It would fit by DT feeding bust though lol
