I wish my mum had told me (or helped me even)to look after my teeth.

It never seemed to have been an important element of my early years.

The repair bill has cost a fortune.

So I am very keen to drum into dd and ds the importance of looking after their gnashers

What about you?

But I told them both today. Can't understand why they keep getting out of bed, wailing and gibbering nonsense. Annoying kids.

Do not become a marathon runner

It doesn't matter what other people think of you, it only matters what you think of yourself! If tyou can look yourself in the eye, and look your mother in the eye, you probably are ok.

JoolsToo · 18/04/2005 22:43

if I can look myself in the eye - I'm cross-eyed

wordsmith · 18/04/2005 22:45

Be yourself!

Peachyclair · 19/04/2005 18:22

As long as you have a roof, a meal and those you love, you're gonna be OK.

spykid · 19/04/2005 18:24

Do unto others.....etc

Peachyclair · 20/04/2005 19:56

never admit on Mumsnet that you give the kids crispy pancakes occasionally.

nightowl · 21/04/2005 04:31

be proud of who you are and if someone doesnt like it, tough. (although easy to say to ds because he IS perfect...now dd is another matter...) for her, maybe do unto others is a better one...

suzywong · 21/04/2005 05:05

don't bash your little brother because one day soon he'll be big too and knock the Sh(t out of you
