I wish my mum had told me (or helped me even)to look after my teeth.

It never seemed to have been an important element of my early years.

The repair bill has cost a fortune.

So I am very keen to drum into dd and ds the importance of looking after their gnashers

What about you?

Be proud of who you are. Follow your own heart and your dreams and don't bow to peer pressure to "do the right thing".

LucyJones · 18/04/2005 20:31

make the most of your size 6/8/10 figure while it lasts and don't fret about what people think about you

happymerryberries · 18/04/2005 20:34

Aim as high as you can and want. You may not make it, but it doesn't matter as long as you give it your best shot.
The worst thing would be , in later life, to say, 'I wish I had tried'.

Nimme · 18/04/2005 20:40

There's no such thing as success and failure - there success and at least you tried!

Life is what you make it.

ebbie22 · 18/04/2005 20:43

Dont laugh at other peoples dreams,
Because if you dont have dreams then you dont have much....

oatcake · 18/04/2005 20:49

don't think you'll be a better parent than your own parents were...

tillykins · 18/04/2005 20:52

If you must compulsively shake the muller lite yoghurt before opening it, do not do so when wearing your best white silk blouse... Anyone know how to get mandarin yoghurt out of silk?

And that I will love you no matter what you do and who you become, even if you make a mess both literally and figuratively

oatcake · 18/04/2005 20:54

babywipes work for most any stain...

Have your dreams and set your goals but forget about them if they start to ruin your life.

hotmama · 18/04/2005 21:04

Do some travelling when you don't have any responsibilities.

Just try your best.

I may not always like you but I will always love you - because I am your mum!

paolosgirl · 18/04/2005 21:07

I will always love you, no matter what (actually, I do find myself questionning this sometimes - if ds, for example, became a serial rapist, would I still love him?)

Don't start smoking

Don't settle down too early - have lots of fun, travel, see something of the world

Stick in at school

paolosgirl

I suspect that you would LOVE who he was, your baby , your little man, your wonderful insecure teenager.

And then Mother Love, would take over if something terrible happened, you would love the fact that this person was your baby, your little man, your wonderful insecure teenager. And then they moved away from you, and the end result is no longer a person you recognise.

Sorry if this is waffly, have often in the past questioned the Mother Love thing, since having DS I now realise that a Mother can only do her utmost.

Surfermum · 18/04/2005 21:22

As the question is in the present tense -

If you want to do a poo you need to stay sat on your potty.

I agree, LGJ. Hope I'm never, ever faced with something like that. How awful for the parents that are

marthamoo · 18/04/2005 21:28

Trees come alive at night and want to kill you.

KBear · 18/04/2005 21:30

Make your own decisions, don't follow the flock.

Do bears flock? Or is that just sheep? flocked if I know.
