What would you think if you were invited to this?

It is my wedding anniversary soon, and as per usual I am organising things in advance.

I am inviting another 2 couples round for gallons of wine and lots of home made nibbles (all vegetarian as two of them are vegetarians), and also play a game of 1980's trivial pursuit.

The three women get on like a house on fire and have been out on a night out and the men are the same, though they have never been out boozing together.

If you got an invite where you knew it would be good company, good food and wine would you go? I'm just a bit unsure with the trivial pursuit aspect of it, but really fancy it.

I always think that Dohnutters game would be hilarious after a few wines !!

SenoraPostrophe · 11/04/2005 20:08

Triv! fantastic. dh hates it because he always gets too drunk to answer the questions.

I on the other hand am super competetive. Go on, ask me anything!

Great - actual knowledge is very poor but as it's 80's does knowing the names of all the band members in Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet count?

And can sing along to all Wham songs??

BubblesDeVere · 11/04/2005 20:20

Definately, as long as we include bros and er some of the others that have skipped my wine fueled mind

I spent a hilarious night on Sat with 4 couples, a PS2 and Singstar (as recommended by www) - absolutely brilliant even though all the other women were scared at first. Can highly recommend. You should have seen me going for it - Lemars 50/50

BubblesDeVere · 11/04/2005 20:34

Whizzz, you are so right with the dohnutters game, but, is it just my mucky mind or are they quite rude?
