Did you know this about the leapfrog alphabet caterpillar? I am enlightened.

Stealthsquiggle has pointed out on another thread that the leapfrog alphabet caterpillar recognises swear words and says 'ooh that tickles' while giggling.

did anyone else know this? is this common knowledge?

unfortunately i have the french version 'la chenille abc' and i can only think of 3 swear words in french. (it was a present, i'm not hothousing the kids). but it still works, just in french.

anyway, how many swear words can your caterpillar recognise?

This has to be tried by adults after a large(ish) amount of wine for maximum hilarity, BTW...

I do have a swearing turtle though that has a pg setting on it that says 'tosspot' in the pg setting lol

it has a moevment senosr and shouts obscenities in a cute turtle voice when you walk past

fuckng hilarious..... only played with it about three times, hard to find a time when the kids wont hear lol

DH has tried all the ones he can think of and it only giggled for 2 of them! He is a tad disappointed.

I am cursed with these fecking caterpillars btw; we were given a purple one for DS1 but he only ever hit the 'Eddison' button on the top, so I freecycled him [cruel mummy]. Only for him to be replaced by the green one for DS2 (which isn't as annoying as the purple one it turns out)

I don't know any swear words obviously . DH got it to giggle for 'fuck' and 'piss' (that felt so wrong to type)
