POLL!....does ear piercing necessitate the need for glasses in the future?

One of my friends told me this ages ago. TBH, most people I know with their ears pierced do need glasses, IIRC she said it was something to do with a meridian. Probably something her mother told her to discourage her from piercing her ears!
Is anyone interested in a 'poll' to find out more?

Answer YES if you have pierced ears and wear glasses/contacts/(have had lazer surgery!)

Yes. I got glasses at 11, about 18 months after I had my ears pierced.

And I have had my ears pierced loads and my eye sight keeps getting worse

I got my ears peirced at 16 and now do need glasses.....don't think it's connected tho cos I also needed glasses while going thro puberty BEFORE I had said ears done!!!!!!

Out of my girls......all three had their ears peirced at 4, and now my middle girlie has glasses full-time!

There's no way piercing ears can affect your vision. Lol!!

Having your ears done can't lead to poor vision but there is a well recognised link between piercings and stealing grapes yu know

I have worn glasses for short-sightedness since I was 7 but didn't have my ears pierced until I was 16.

Is there any correlation between number of ear piercings and deterioration of vision? I have three holes in my right ear but only two in my left - yet my left eye has poorer vision that my right. Spooky

If you have your eyebrow pierced do you start to go deaf?
