Just thwacked my first wasp of the year. I hate doing it but am terrified of the blighters. What's your policy? Glass and paper and set them free? Lethal sprays? (Can't do this one at the mo because of pregnancy - also don't like DD inhaling the stuff.)

PLUS: I hate the idea of DD (14m) getting stung but should be prepared I suppose. What's the best way to deal with stings in babies?

lonelymum, my dh says waps are useful and should be protected!!!!!! i couldnt care less, they are also downright bad-tempered., i think they get a kick out of stinging people!

*wasps i mean, what is a wap i wonder, do they exist??

Every wasp that dares to come in the house gets obliterated in any way possible. Bumblebees and butterflies get coazed outside but anything else gets to go to the big garden in the sky I'm afraid.

Hate wasps, they're malicious little buggers.

I lure them into a glass of juice/fizzy drink and then put something on top of it and leave them to suffer and die!!!!!!! (evil cackle....ha ha ha ha!!!)

I hate wasps, they get sprayed as soon as they attempt to come in here... Bees, I just usher them out, was stung last year while helping Misdee move, it hurt for ages....

What about daddy-long-legs? Is there anything more useless or annoying when they get inside! They give me the creeps - great flappy, buzzy, ridiculous looking things. Just wanted to get that off my chest

Those of you that are allergic might find this site useful. It was set up by someone who had a life-threatening allergy to wasp stings and was cured. Interesting to know that it can be done.
