just occured to me what would happen it you put a chocolate biscuit bar in and a small bag of crisp

then you get told off - you nod and say "absolutley" but carry on.

repeat
repeat.

but you still carry on

what would the powers that be actually do?

Thank God my DS' school seems to have a sensible policy. They issue guidelines and lunch box ideas periodically but don't really police them, as far as I know. I can only imagine them contacting a parent if it got rididulous unhealthy. They just send out reminders ever now and again. I would worry if the teachers were so focused on lunch boxes.

DS1 and ds3 loved a sald; I loved it too as whilst gettting fruit and veg into them is easy, ds1's behaviour issues can be managed somewhat mroe easily on a gluten free diet. Sadly after the chidlren pinched their noses claiming his food 'smelled' (a lovely bean salad) or made vomiting noises every time he took in something that wasn't plain old white bread and ham sandwiches, he started to refuse eating the options we had, and we ended up back on the crap.

I did think it was ds1 being awkward but nt ds2 experienced the same thing when he went into Juniors also.
