Did anyone else ever play Charlie's Angels when they were little? Are are you all far too young....?

I was always Sabrina as she was the "intelligent" one - and also had the same haircut as me.

Interestingly, all my mates wanted to be Kelly, as she was considered the prettiest. Not Farah.

Wonder what the modern version of playing at Charlie's Angels is? CSI...?

Another Sabrina here

LuLuMacGloo · 12/09/2008 20:44

And another Sabrina here. Everyone wanted to be Kelly so Sabrina was considered the short straw but looking back now I think she was the best of the bunch!

oh for us it was grease and wonder woman

followed later on by cagney and lacey

and then, doing the scene from flashdance where she takes her bra off while still wearing her top, lol

also, we recreated many, many scenes from fame and also kids from fame

one of us had to be the dance teacher, miss grant (?) , who banged a stick on the floor and talked about 'blood, sweat and tears' while the rest of us danced around in our legwarmers and ra-ra skirts etc. lol

we would fight to get to be the one who would deliberately mess it up and deliver the immortal line 'can i start again?'

it was probably just us.....

I was Kelly as I had the hair (Paula was Sabrina and Denny was Chris).

DoubleBluff - When I worked in a childrens home (so an adult ) I regularly played Cagney and Lacey with a colleague when we used to search the grounds for absconders or visitors hidden in the bushes.

Bobbiewickham · 12/09/2008 21:20

Yep, I was alway Sabrina.

My bf at the time was always Kelly "Because I am the prettiest and I have dark hair"

Very formative, those games of Charlie's Angels.

We spent a lot of time pointing with both hands joined together (holding a gun) while hopping round corners on one leg and shouting "freeze".

ROFL at Norbert in the kids home.

LuLuMacGloo · 12/09/2008 22:51

Actually - Norbert, your post has reminded me that whenI was a student, me and my flatmate used to play Cagney and Lacey of an evening. Much to annoyance of our downstairs neighbours who eventually complained to thir housing association because of the racket.

SnotMe · 12/09/2008 22:52

Nope, we played Bionic Woman v Six Million Dollar Man (girls v boys)

PuppyMonkey · 13/09/2008 11:28

Oh, I do feel pleased that so many others were Sabrina... she was the overlooked one imho. Plus the whole show was her idea wasn't it!?

Ah, this thread has made me go all nostalgic...

remember the flicked hair and trying to lie on my flicks at night to keep them in for school the next day.

twinsetandpearls · 13/09/2008 11:44

We played the A team. I was suprisingly enough the woman.

myalias · 13/09/2008 11:45

Yes I was Sabrina - loved her hair!!
My mate was Fawcett - she had hair like hers!
My other friend was Kelly - she had lovely long dark hair.
We used to play in the woods with 2 other lads - who were Starskey and Hutch!!!
It ended up with us running and hiding behind trees and talking in American accents.
Hutch fancied Fawcett and would give her backie on his bike back home - happy days

Jux · 13/09/2008 11:59

I was too old (fat middle-aged frumpy chuckle)

CostaRicanCod · 13/09/2008 12:00

My big sis loved starsky and hutch and she used to record it on her 70's tape recorder, I had to be very quiet. She sat inches away from the TV and held the record button.
