On holiday abroad,couple pushing a pram, the pram wheel got stuck on a step and the baby flew out of the pram and hit the ground head first. Was horrible and haunted me the rest of my holiday

So please please strap your babies in, I haven't on the odd occasion but am doing it religiously after seeing that.

I think it's only recommended to carry children lying flat if there is a medical need for them to be flat. In healthier infants, they should be rear facing all the time. Have a look on you tube. It's frightening.

My pram has no straps.

I did have one day when DS was about 18 months - he was in the zapp in a cosy toes, we were only going a short way down the road... I hit a tree root. He went flying out, but his legs stayed put in the cosy toes.

He laughed

So did I In my defence I knew he wasn't hurt and it looked bloody silly.

I hit the kerb with dgs(3} he fell out in the biggest puddle he laughed tho

I have just looked at my Toro carrycot, it has D rings to attatch reins to, I never thought about it in a carrycot before to be honest, thanks!
