I'm not a happy bunny, it's not snowing here

OP posts:

We had a couple of disappointingly wet flakes about an hour ago, sadly I was cleaning the toddler vom from my car at the time and it was FREEZING !

Casmie · 21/02/2005 22:04

Grrr... it's not allowed to snow, it's not allowed to snow.

It snows, the building work on our extension stops work

NomDePlume · 22/02/2005 12:21

It snowed, Casmie, has snow stopped play ?

MrsDoolittle · 22/02/2005 12:23

It's really snowing here in Slough now

Keane · 22/02/2005 12:24

it just keeps trying here\
and we have sprinkling on ground

NomDePlume · 22/02/2005 12:24

Ours has pretty much all melted now.

Gobbledigook · 22/02/2005 12:25

Keeps snowing on and off here but not really sticking - keeps going dark and snowing then going really sunny again! I'm in S.Mcr/Cheshire.

piffle · 22/02/2005 12:26

been snowing here in Sleaford Lincs on and off all morning - has just started again but has sunny spells so most of it melts...
Our decking is well covered though and the horses are getting dead cross that they cannot get the grass, so we are busy dumping hay!

SeaShells · 22/02/2005 12:27

No snow here either...in Norfolk

Casmie · 22/02/2005 12:28

Oooo... NomDePlume is back ... yay!

It didn't - apparently we're okay as long as it's still above freezing (was 2 degrees above this morning, apparently). If it drops below then the cement stops working or something - I glazed over at that point, to be honest.

pipsy1 · 22/02/2005 12:29

Nice and white here in Kent, and more coming down

NomDePlume · 22/02/2005 12:30

Have you got any builders worth a cookies & perving trip ? Still got a few DVDs for you (your 2 and Shark Tale). x

Dyzzidi · 22/02/2005 12:34

It's my Birthday tomorrow and every year for a long time now it has either snowed or there is snow on the ground. I've been saying for weeks it will snow this week and now people think I am the new Michael Fish .

I'm in Manchester and there is a small amount on the ground but is not snowing at present

Gobby1 · 22/02/2005 12:34

N, S, E or W Manchester Dizz?

Casmie · 22/02/2005 12:39

Not at the moment, NomDePlume - the cute one left with the digger Two brickies here at the moment, lovely blokes, but pinups for the generation above us... probably.

NomDePlume · 22/02/2005 12:40

Ewww, I suppose I'll just have to come over and see you and the boys then

Dyzzidi · 22/02/2005 12:40

at work at the moment in Salford Quays so quite central

Gobbledigook · 22/02/2005 12:43

Oh, no snow on the ground here in S Manc.

Gobbledigook · 22/02/2005 12:43

Sorry, Gobby1 was me - just messing with my name!

Dyzzidi · 22/02/2005 12:46

I live at Agecroft also Salford and it always seems to be worse down there. Only been there for 8 months and it is a nightmare for ice and stuff ther is even a lane that floods consistently. At least I love my house!

Where abouts s manc are you

NomDePlume · 22/02/2005 12:48

I used to live nearish to Agecroft . Just off Irlam O'th Height. Remember going to Agecroft power station on a school trip

Dyzzidi · 22/02/2005 14:24

I live on a new estate where to powerstation used to be it has gone quite nice down there now even my mum jokingly calls me a snob!

Casmie · 22/02/2005 14:31

Well, if you must NdP

cat82 · 22/02/2005 14:41

boo, it snowed quite heavily here, but just as it was about to stick the sun came out and melted it all again

BadHair · 22/02/2005 14:48
