OOh I can't wait - was a size 20 last year and only a few pounds to go to a size 12 now.

I think I'm going to blow a fortune - but not on floaty gipsy look stuff - wouldn't be worth losing all the weight if I'm still going to look like a frumpy side of a house

noddyholder · 04/02/2005 14:11

what are they the m&s invisible support make my boobs look like a shelf (dp's words)

Fimbo · 04/02/2005 14:11

Some of their stuff is ok Beetroot, but IMO its gone down hill in the last few years.

Demented · 04/02/2005 14:11

Fimbo, yes I think they were about that price, they had long and three quarter length, I had a pair of each and like you practically lived in them they were fab.

soapbox · 04/02/2005 14:12

noddy - they make me look like I've only got one massive boob - not a pretty sight!!

beansontoast · 04/02/2005 14:12

blimey soap box...

nailpolish · 04/02/2005 14:13

i bought one of these wonderbras with the cord pull thingy in the middle recently. i pulled the cord as far as it goes and it gave my boobs the most brilliant shape and lift - i got 3 compliments all from men in the pub last week

it was brilliant and i told dh so many times he had to tell me to shut it

im going back to buy another in a different colour

Demented · 04/02/2005 14:13

Noddyholder they are much better than the M&S things which give you a very unflattering mono-boobed look. These have a proper bra built into them, you buy your normal bra size they are fantastic.

noddyholder · 04/02/2005 14:13

the one boob look is so bad! What can we do for the summer def can't go braless 36d but v skinny arms look ridiculous!

lowcalCOD · 04/02/2005 14:14

harte th a lot of it

BHS had some good one's last year that had a proper built in bra. And they went up to a FF cup size. Much more effective!

noddyholder · 04/02/2005 14:14

am off to look on their website Is there a shop?

beansontoast · 04/02/2005 14:15

wish primark wasnt such an unairconditioned hell hole...would definitely pop in every now and then .my friend got a really lovely lined and embroidered skirt for EIGHT QUID!

Demented · 04/02/2005 14:15

Soapbox wow!

PicadillyCircus · 04/02/2005 14:16

What about me .

beansontoast · 04/02/2005 14:17

p.circus...dont suppose you live ner a hennes?

nailpolish · 04/02/2005 14:18

pic.circus do you know topshop do maternity now?

soapbox · 04/02/2005 14:19

Picadilly - you know I think the flouncy look might be ok if you are heavily pregnant. Depends on whether you have the all over bump thing or a neat little football look!

If neat bump then gypsie skirt just below hte bump, long kaftany top belted under the bump could look great!

If the all over lumpy look (like I was) then I'm afraid its off to Blacks

Cristina7 · 04/02/2005 14:19

I had a pair of Next 3/4 linen trousers too. Very comfortable. And I liked the jacket in the link as well. We'd better not do a meet-up then!

(Beansontoast - no worries re the speech therapy question. I love giving out those two links.)

Fimbo · 04/02/2005 14:20

BeansonToast-Where are you? If you are anywhere near Norwich our Primark is quite good for air conditioning but then it did used to be Marks & Spencers!!

Fimbo · 04/02/2005 14:21

PC-My local Next has started stocking maternity stuff as well, you could only get it in the catalogue before

beansontoast · 04/02/2005 14:22

ours used to be C&A (remember them?)

Fimbo · 04/02/2005 14:24

God yes, thats a blast from the past. Our Next was C & A!

Demented · 04/02/2005 14:24

Brvissimo strappy tops here . I think they have shops too.

Lucycat · 04/02/2005 14:24

are you from stockport beans? or did they turn all the old C&A's in the country into Next's?
