Have left work - quite a long time ago - and trying to decide to do re moving house and reconciling with h ... apart from that having a lovely time. Had a great night out in Islington not long ago - I do miss London, but am up on Thursday and FF is coming to stay, so a very drunken time ahead.

spacedonkey · 14/12/2004 00:04

wow, loads of changes in your life too then

are you finding it stressful?

and where do you go out in islington?

FLOPSEYfairylightswithBUNNIES · 14/12/2004 00:04

whta did dh do??

OP posts:
sykes · 14/12/2004 00:09

A bit stressful, but after last year not really - my mum died and my sister had breast cancer ... sister fine now. H had an affair and left for a year and wants to come back ...... I'd eventually got my life sorted, started seeing someone - just fun - but GOOD fun, so all a bit confusing. Sorry that post sounds very self-pitying not meant to as really do feel fine now - just trying to decide about h.

mishmish · 14/12/2004 00:11

just going to see if there's any more strange wine. It says it's Californian and fruity but it tastes a bit like Benylin to me.

spacedonkey · 14/12/2004 00:11

Bloody hell sykes, what a harrowing year ... really sorry about your mum

MarsselectionboxLady · 14/12/2004 00:11

Not an easy thing to do.

sykes · 14/12/2004 00:15

Thanks, SD, was a relief in some ways as she had Alzheimers - hope that doesn't sound awful, but I really lost her quite a long time ago. anyway, this is not my thread and would love to know how everyone else is and where you go in Islington. My friend lives in Almeida St - near the theatre - there are so many great bars near there - you lucky woman. And so many lovely men.

spacedonkey · 14/12/2004 00:16

tell me about it! lou and I always go to cuba libre to ogle the barman
