At 6pm this evening I had a phone call from my head teacher asking me to come in to work to play the piano for one of the Christmas productions, one I wasn't involved in. I was asked because my colleague who was supposed to do it was at the hospital with her DP who had had a suspected heart attack 
So I agreed to go in, but had to ask DH to come back from the pub to look after our DDs. Since I got back he has done nothing but moan, saying I shouldn't have done it. Yes, things at work have been difficult lately, but I wanted to do this for my colleague.
I just hope her DP is ok.
