When is bedtime?

Following on from the babysitting thread, I'm curious to find out what time your kids go to bed, and if it's earlier in the UK than here in the US in general?

My two (aged 5 and 2.5) usually go around 7:15. This is considered pretty early though around here. I would say that most of the kids in the neighborhood go to bed at 8 or 8:30 at the earliest, even on a school night.

so what times do US kids get up then?

oh socci you are making me feel far less of a bad mum now - DS 8.5 months goes down for night any time between 7.30 and 10.30 p.m. - don't do "routines" per se with him.

Straight after the bedtime song on CBeebies! (Weewees, teeth brushing, story and tucking up, all over by 7.15 on a very good night, 7.20 on an average night and 7.30 on a bad night, but NEVER later because of Corrie!)

Ds goes to bed any time between 7:30 and 10pm. If he's not tired I don't see the point in making him go to bed, it doesn't bother me!

Having said that, he also dosn't get up until 8:30 to 10am, so sometimes I am a very lucky mummy!

6.45 - 7.00pm depending on how tired dd is.

Bathtime is at 6:45 for ds1 (3y8m) and ds2 (18m). They're usually in bed for the night between 7:15 and 7:30.

DD (3.8) goes up around 7.15 for a story and cudlle and is usually asleep by 7.30.

Dd1 goes to bed at 8pm. She is 7 and I used to have her in bed and asleep by 7pm but as she's got older that's creeped up to 8pm but never any later. Dd2 is 6 months old and I put her down around 7.30/45pm and she's asleep by 8pm. They both get up at 7am. I like to have my evenings to myself.

There are two kids next door to me that are 2 and 14 months and they are usually still up running around at 10.30pm most nights as I can hear them through the wall.

Ds1 goes 2 bed between 7.30 & 8pm (depending on if it is a school night)
Ds2 (20mths) goes at 6.30pm, 2 keep me sane!!

Well mine wake up sometime between 6 and 7. The kids who are at school already have to get up fairly early because the school bus comes at 7:20. I'm not sure about my friends with toddlers, although I think they tend to take daytime naps till a later age here. (I know of 3.5 year olds who still nap - not my kids though, or else they would be up all evening.)
