marmitemad · 22/02/2008 14:16

fryalot · 22/02/2008 14:19

fryalot · 22/02/2008 14:20

now that looked soooo much better when I typed it!

pah!

fryalot · 22/02/2008 14:20

you got your bloods back yet?

marmitemad · 22/02/2008 14:22

no bloods, I ought to ring today I suppose.

dd is awake......

fryalot · 22/02/2008 14:23

will they ring you if there's anything you need to know about? or not contact you at all if everything is normal and ok?

Ring them NOW Marmite...

OP posts:
fryalot · 22/02/2008 14:36

well, as soon as you've sorted dd out, of course - you don't want to hear "yes, Mrs. Marmite, your results are back and what they mean is ok? goodbye then"

Egg · 22/02/2008 15:12

LOL at you lot... I cannot wait to be a bridesmaid in jeans and a tiara on Brighton beach! I would never get into my wedding dress now either I dont think. I am the same weight at the mo, but I used to be a couple of cup sizes bigger, which means the weight is redistributed elsewhere. Tummy and bottom bigger now . Might try it though. Think I am also bigger round ribcage too.

Marmite, let us know when you hear.......

Seriously, I do think we should make some sort of hen effort, it would be SILLY not to. Oooooooooh I can't wait. It's only 3 months! Woohoo. Anyone fancy bringing a double buggy so DS1 can be pushed by you and not me???!?!?

marmitemad · 22/02/2008 17:33

sorry to have left you all dangling, SIL rang to ask if we wanted to pop round for a cup of tea.

all blood test results were normal so have to go back to drs now to decide what we do now . was a little bit disappointed that there wasn't a bfp but at least there's no bad news.

marmitemad · 22/02/2008 17:48

Phono -what did you FB update mean? hope you are ok?

Dropdeadfred · 22/02/2008 19:53

Thats a relief marmite..although I guess you're still left wondering what's going on. I really do understand the regret about the being no bfp, even if you didn't really want one right now...I get that every month now...

OP posts:
fryalot · 23/02/2008 10:39

Marmite - thanks for letting us know (eveeeeeentually ) I guess you feel kind of neither here nor there - it's good that the results came back all ok, but you still don't have an answer. bugger.

I'm not here, btw, am just checking dp's laptop will get on line wireless-ly (which it does ) any minute now he will realise that I've actually been connected for half an hour

Egg · 23/02/2008 17:21

Hi girls

Soz marmite that no bfp, but good really as surely better to get one when not on potentially harmful meds, than spend the next 7 or 8 months worrying about the effects??????????????

Am off back to London tomorrow, will be driving for approx 5 hrs in total so hope I get some sleep tonight! Taking DS1 to nephew's bday party as I know he will love it (at huuuuuuuuge softplay place).

Phono never did find out whereabouts you live????

DC status in Egg household:-

DS1 out shopping with DH
DS2 half asleep half sneezing and snotty in bouncy chair, due for feed in 30ish mins
DD waving arms and legs under activity arch, just been fed so full of energy

marmitemad · 23/02/2008 21:25

Hi ladies,

one exhausting party down and one to go but at least tomorrows one will be in my house on my terms.

I still feel somethings not quite right as I have been getting strange tummy feelings, with lots of wind and bloating. I also nearly passed out yesterday in Tescos and today in Sainsburys .

Have just been to visit SIL in hosp and had to listen to a poor lady in labour as there were no labour rooms free , heard doc say she was 5cm as well! I really wanted to go in and tell her how well she was doing but how I was that she had to be in such a public place.

more cake pics on profile [yum]

marmitemad · 23/02/2008 22:58

Egg - the dc update sounds good/ hope you and ds1 have a lovely time tomorrow

fryalot · 25/02/2008 08:07

morning everyone

marmite - hope that DD had a fab day yesterday. What prezzies did she get?

squonkette update:

dd1 - school (she had her hair done on Sat - cut, coloured, styled, the lot [£45 worth ] so she'll be strutting)
dd2 - trying to find the remote control to watch cbeebies
ds - sitting on the remote control while watching milkshake
me - here

Egg · 25/02/2008 08:33

Morning all. Marmite hope you are feeling ok, think you need to go back to docs...

Hope DDs bday was fab. First bday is sooooooo special! I sent a card but sent it on Friday so hope it arrived on Sat, if not it will be today.

Babies had a great night, but I am having a manic morning trying to get all ready for nursery run. DS1 being sweet but challenging!

fryalot · 25/02/2008 09:17

agree with egg, marmite - if you're still not right, you need to nag the docs.

How's your SIL doing?
