I brought my DS and DD home from school, left my pushchair in the communal area behind a closed door as usual went to get it this morning and its gone-checked the car to see if I was losing my marbles but it is gone!!!

I am cross and upset all at the same time! Police say theres nothing they can do!

Just thought I'd rant!

TwinklyfLightAttendant · 20/12/2007 13:18

Come back Lilmissmummy!!!

lilmissmummy · 20/12/2007 13:21

thanks guys!!! I was seriously cross! I had to drag 2 year old dd to nursery and ds 7 to school whilst carrying 3 school bags, a changing bag, a pe kit, 2 lunch boxes and 2 plates of food in the ice! I was definately not a happy bunny especially with dd screaming for her buggy!!!! Hope they choke on it!

It was a Maclaren Quest only a year old too!!! It cost me £85 unfortunately it is covered by the house insurance which has an excess of £100. So I wont be claiming.

Although on the plus side I have just had a call from my local police who said they have passed it to CID! I wonder if that has anything to do with FIL being ex-police!?!

I am so sorry to hear about all the toys being taken out of the garden! Thats terrible, there are some really heartless people in the world!

FFS, that's just fucking wrong!!!

FairyTaleOfNewYork · 20/12/2007 13:23

where abouts are you?

lilmissmummy · 20/12/2007 13:23

Thats what almost makes it worse- there were 3 mountain bikes (my ds included) chained together in there too and they only took the pushchair.

I am going to have to go into my local town tomorrow and buy one because there is no way that dd is ready to start walking everywhere yet and I still have xmas shopping to do!

I know I should have done it by now!

That's awful! Shame you don't live near me, we don't use ours any more, you would have been welcome to borrow it.

Make sure you get a padlock, Lilmiss. Lock it to something immoveable like a railing. I do it at the Drs, swimming pool, anywhere we leave it - shame it has to be that way.
If I could courier you one to borrw I would, but they have stopped for Christmas now.

sparklygothkat · 20/12/2007 13:29
