Big respect for SAHM's

As a full time working dad, I must admit that I have previously thought that SAHM's must have an easy life but after spending the last two days with 3 ds's under 4, I have to say ... "Please take me back to work !! " Never again will I be tempted to tell my wife that she must have it easy. In fact, I'd say, being a SAHM must be one of the hardest jobs in the world. I have the utmost respect for you all !

nooo emma - if I had a dp I wouldn't want him on here!! Zero privacy - no offence to all the dp's tho!!! Have got nothing against men on MN - as long as it's never MY man!!! Agree with you emma - as soon as I read 3 small ds' I thought of this MN'er.

Well, Daddypops, and the poster formerly known as a fish, are we right? Jools?

JoolsToo · 16/11/2004 16:09
Wink
KateandtheGirls · 16/11/2004 16:13

Aha.

Thanks Jools.

Thank you daddypops! It's so nice to see such a positive thread for once

SpringChicken · 16/11/2004 16:21

Confused Come on ................... i'm not very good at these cryptic clues!

KateandtheGirls · 16/11/2004 16:22

Spring Chicken, are you aware of anyone that Jools Too might be related to on Mumsnet?

Daddypops · 17/11/2004 22:46

Well Wobblynicks, MummyToSteven and emmatmg - you can successfully give up looking after your little ones and launch in to detective work as you are spot on. May have to change my name now as dw hates it when people know how she is linked to other MN'ers

I do think you are all stars though as the constant demands for attention is draining enough but when I think of all the other things you get done - washing, feeding the kids, entertaining them, clearing up after them etc, it's amazing you are still so upbeat when you come on here and not fast asleep recovering from exhaustion. A big pat on the back for all of you.

Awww, sorry daddypops - but mentioning that your dw is on here is like a red rag to a bull - we HAVE to work out who it is!!! DW should be happy that you're saying such nice things about SAHM's instead of saying 'what do they do all day?'!!! And I am actually fast sleep when I come on MN, that's why most of my posts are so weird!!

PicadillyCircus · 17/11/2004 22:55

Daddypops I think I know who your wife is as she accidently posted as you before

I did wonder if you were her husband from your first post actually!

Daddypops · 17/11/2004 23:47

Jeepers - you MN'ers should be out there cleaning up the crime wave. You are very observant. Are there many other links? My sister and MIL post on here too. MILly - as I like to call her is very active and as bad as dw for time spent on MN - I think you know her anyway. As for sis - well she's new and you'd never guess !
